@Pfei or whoever may know this.

The schedule shows different time slots for different races. Is this because of daylight saving time changes or can we expect to have different time slots this season? I ask because I can’t join Europe races at the season 1 time slots.

Should I just make a US account?

Looks like it's best 7 for Nations and best 3 for Manufacturers (though last season was also best 3 for Manufacturers so could be a Copy/Paste they forgot to change)
I didn't even bother looking at the Nation's schedule because I assumed they'd be counting the same amount of rounds for both...

Even so, I don't see myself doing more than 3 Nation's rounds, as much as I like to try to do a "full" championship whenever I decide to participate. These are just too rapid-fire, and not enough of them are interesting to me.

There's three different sets of time slots, one set for Rounds 1-3, one for Rounds 4-6, and one for Rounds 7-9. It's nothing to do with daylight saving changes, which have already happened everywhere on Earth.

Round 1-3 start an hour earlier each than 4-6, and 7-9 start an hour later.

I put it all into the article.

Test Round 1 Manu Top 10 by class.

GT1: BMW Peugeot Nissan Subaru Renault Volkswagen Honda Mazda Alfa Toyota
GT2: Nissan Subaru Porsche Toyota Mazda Peugeot Aston McLaren Genesis Jaguar
GT3: AMG Porsche Mazda Toyota Aston Renault Subaru BMW Lamborghini McLaren

This is what I read on their site: https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/news/00_4922295.html
"At the end of Round 9, the points from the best three Rounds will count towards the final score."

Yes, this must be a typo leftover from season one. I assume that Manu will also be 7 out of 9, like Nations.

I added @Famine link to the GTP article in the original post.

Manu result.

Not too bad for only doing 2 races. Was 20th for Lexus in GT2.
I will stick with them for Test Season 2 as I barely got a run out this time and never used the Gr3 car in anger after the disconnects in race 1.

Signed with Genesis. Yes I picked them based on looks. :D
That was my choice for Test Season 1, chose them for the novelty factor. Ended up really liking the Gr.4, but the Gr.3 is rather temperamental in 2nd and 3rd when not using TCS and suffers very much from no BB adjustment IMHO.

I'm completely undecided which manufacturer to choose, but no BB adjustment will likely have me gravitate towards MR cars...

Also I can't view my results from the first seasons, I just get an empty page :(

One question can someone explain to me how it can be that some drivers in the constructor competition can start with vehicles that are not available as "gift cars"? For example Toyota there is the current Supra as Gr3 and Gr4. But during the practice sessions I see drivers with the GT500 or FT-1, that's kind of stupid.

I only get the M6 Endurance as an option for BMW, no M3, Z4, M6 Sprint; Ford GT '18 but no Mustang or the other Ford GTs.

Does anyone else have this issue? I am positive I have seen Z4s in some of the races.

You need to select it from the first screen and then it will take you to the options for the next class.

Not sure what you mean, when I select the Renault Megane Trophy for example, it definetly doesn't give me the option to get the other Megane Gr.4, it goes straight to the Gr. 3 selection.

Misunderstood your question, sorry.

What's there is the selection then, it is typically 1 of each class that I've seen too.

I can't speak for what others have, I don't see why it would be different. I've not noticed anything odd, though I haven't looked into it.

it is difficult to test for the coming races, only have a few cars. So; what are the good cars in Gr.4 / Gr.3, which have the best straight line speed, which ones corners best?
Can any of you that are already doing the series provide some input? Is it indeed not possible to adjust the BB, and if so, is that much of an issue?
Seems coming races are mostly tyres x1 and fuel x 1, so economy and tyre wear are hardly an issue at the moment?

Seems odd to me, I have surely seen the Z4 GT3 being driven but I can't select it. It would also make about half of the Gr. 3 cars not usable in the manufacturers series, which is unlikely as they had all cars in GT Sport as well.

I just checked and went into the Manu and chose Change Car, and I can select from the Loan Corvette and the Corvette already in my garage.

They must have the Z4 already.

So it looks like if you own a Gr3/4 already you can use it, but the loaners are available if you don't, but there's only 1 option.

Ah I see, thanks for clearing that up.

I am pretty sure that, since free practice doesn't require registration for an event, you can enter with any car you like. However, to register for a race in those 15 minutes before start time, your car must be one of the Manu-designated competitors.

@Mercia just cleared that up.
