It's pretty clearly the GTR under there - I'm surprised people think otherwise.Knowing PD, its likely a car already in the game just with a tarp over it. No mystery really.

For 2020 World Finals, they used the RX-Vision GT3 and for 2021, they used the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car.Have they ever raced the X2019 at the Nurburgring 24h layout before? It seems like such an insane combination, I just may have to tune in.
EDIT: Also, has it always been the X2019 (and before that, the X2014) for every Nations Cup Grand Final for the GTWS/FIAGTCs? Just curious. I could see it making sense since the car takes a sizable amount of skill to drive well with, it's not really associated with a given manufacturer, and it's got a unique look to it. I suppose I just wonder what could end up taking the X2019's place since I don't think Newey is going to design an "X2024" or something, and I don't see the GTWS/FIAGTCs sticking with the X2019 forever. Even the name of the car itself tells me it's got a limited shelf life, as much as I like it otherwise.
For the most part, it's indeed always been the X2019.Have they ever raced the X2019 at the Nurburgring 24h layout before? It seems like such an insane combination, I just may have to tune in.

And although not a final to the championship, we used the F1500T-A at the Tokyo WT in 2019.Have they ever raced the X2019 at the Nurburgring 24h layout before? It seems like such an insane combination, I just may have to tune in.

*X2025. You also have to remember that Adrian Newey will no longer be associated with Red Bull starting next year, as he will transfer to Aston Martin.Have they ever raced the X2019 at the Nurburgring 24h layout before? It seems like such an insane combination, I just may have to tune in.

Would be cool to get some insight in regards to the events directly - how the races are chosen, what do they keep in mind when creating these eventsor what influences them to choose certain tracks or cars etc. as GTWS events. Might be a bit of an ask though!I arrived in Amsterdam yesterday and finally coming to my senses from the jetlag.
Aside from the obvious (Kazunori interview, which will be happening) what type of coverage would you guys like to see from these events? Behind-the-scenes stuff? Driver interviews? Something else?
I'd quite like to know what other races (if any) beyond the three championships and the Pro-Am get raced.I arrived in Amsterdam yesterday and finally coming to my senses from the jetlag.

Yeah, this gets asked quite frequently off-the-record, but they keep the answer close to the vest.Would be cool to get some insight in regards to the events directly - how the races are chosen, what do they keep in mind when creating these eventsor what influences them to choose certain tracks or cars etc. as GTWS events. That was very unusual.I'd quite like to know what other races (if any) beyond the three championships and the Pro-Am get raced.
Like last year how there was that Spanish esports team race.
Malaysia's Taj Aiman – his first time in the TGR GT Cup Global Finals – fought hard and had to battle technical issues with his simulator rig, yet did well enough to qualify in fifth place with a time of 1:02:302.
"The wheel was moving in place, even during practice. It was weird; I initally thought it was a feature. It felt the same way in qualifying, and after that the technical team had to tighten it. Anyway, I am impressed with my results for Malaysia," said Aiman.
Andika Rama Maulana posted them on his Twitter. Side note: I bloody love that guy and hope he gets something this year.Seemingly the quali results for the TGR GT Cup Finals have been revealed around the Internet (?)

Last year's line-up was the 911, a GT Academy GT-R, and a buuuuuuuuuuunch of Mercedes.
But then again, I'm happy for Taj Aiman's time despite the rig troubles. I wonder how he would perform with a fixed rig soon. 🤔Andika Rama Maulana posted them on his Twitter. Side note: I bloody love that guy and hope he gets something this year.
Now you mentioned that, I felt a new Formula GT - or just the Super Formula SF23 - could the Nations Cup finale car in the future.*X2025. You also have to remember that Adrian Newey will no longer be associated with Red Bull starting next year, as he will transfer to Aston Martin.
If possible, maybe for the Nations Cup, they could one day bring the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro instead.
You picked them already? You can wait right up until the final race in each event...I went for Pol Urra for the TGT, Subaru for the Manu (mostly for my man Miyazono who is an old fave and my Nations pick too).
Have a feeling I should have gone with Serrano for the TGT. That smile...
Yeah, I usually forget and miss it entirely. Good to know however, it does give you a very big advantage! You picked them already? You can wait right up until the final race in each event...
I suppose I said "X2024" since it'd result in an even five years between the X2014, X2019, and the new one. But otherwise, you're right that Newey moving from Red Bull to Aston Martin could play a factor in an X2019 successor. As much as I'd love to see the Valkyrie AMR-LMH come to GT7 as a Gr.1 racer for Aston Martin - since Newey at least designed the road car - I still get a solid feeling that whatever car succeeds the X2019 could still be under the "Gran Turismo" brand, not unlike the F1500T-A. Now, while I think all future Nations Cup World Finals will remain one-makes, @tankuroded had mentioned that the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 and the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car were featured in the 2020 and 2021 finals respectively, so maybe it could still be a racer that's under another brand. Maybe it could be something like the Genesis GMR-001, if it ends up getting added. Or maybe the GTWS could get more automakers as formal partners - who knows? Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see Porsche, Honda, and/or Mercedes-AMG in particular join Mazda/Toyota/Genesis as additional GTWS partners.*X2025.
