Special Events race#3, Could someone recommend me a car to use for this rally.. sadly, I can't even win with the lancer evo super rally car =(

That's what you get when you don't have a general questions section where people can ask questions without the need of approval. Sure, there's a general topic on the front page, but not everyone feels like searching through 100's of pages with bull**** to find the answer.

to answer the question...

if you cant beat it with that car.....

i would suggest instead of trying to get an even faster car that you just ride the walls and get infront of the comp

you should remember in dirt and snow(especially in snow) that to get faster times you need to lay off the pedal. its more about smoothness in the turns and with the pedals.

but to just win the race RIDE THE WALLS

riding the wally will only get you 5 sec penalty.

It's hard to drive fast here, but try. slow entry in corner, fast out, early braking and in general try to be as smooth as possible. One other thing is to try and get in front right away, so your opponent can't pass you so easy. And don't be bothered with him, just drive. And take a few practice runs, to get the feeling.

I tried using my full-tune Evo VIII MR on Grand Canyon. It had worked just fine on Costa Di Amalfi and Umbria, so I figured it wouldn't be too different on dirt. Boy, was I wrong.

I ended up taking off the Stage 5 turbo, ECU, Exhaust, Original suspension, VCD(it was set at 20%), and the AYC controller(set at 80). The car was down to about 380hp, but it was great. I think my problem was having too much power. Not only did I take the Grand Canyon, the Ice Rally, and Chamonix after trying them again, but also both Yosimite rallies and Swiss Alps on my first attempt.

Oh, and I'm horrible at rally driving.
