I think I'll Keep it to a Saturday. Then it should give everybody a chance as it's then weekend all around the globe but for now you've got a few weeks to test and tune
I guess we can try August 4th/11th if you want.
OMG! A R35 TC! Change me to the same car, so somebody can give that guy some competition and pressure, THAT CAR IS A BEAST!

Mac KThe weight penalty should hopefully even things out..
Shoe674WD need more weight or else they will win EVERY race
Mac KI think thats the point
4WD need more weight or else they will win EVERY race
How much heavier do they gotta be? 80kg?

I'm actually having a thought about banning 4wd cars, as you've more or less all said they will dominate without extra weight.
My R33 has done a 1:49, and a set of Race Mediums will last no more than 7 laps - the fronts were just gone. Anyone tested another drivetrain? And if so, how many laps could you get from Medium tyres? This was with 1115kg, and 90% rear-bias torque split, by the way.
Oh, and the R35 I'd ban straight away, it is a monster that drives itself. That car, I don't think even exists in that race setup, not with 4WD and that amount of power. The R32, 33 and 34 are closely based on existing racing cars, and are a challenge to drive in their own right...but not the R35 TC. In FIA GT racing, the R35 is always FR. Those are my two cents on the subject, anyway.
I have not found any evidence of the R32 TC looking like a real car, but I remember seeing a photo of a car that looked similar. The R33 is no-doubt a replica of the R33 Le Mans racer, and the R34 shares certain similarities with the JGTC car. The problem is, none of those were 4wd. And as I don't have the DLC there's no way I can test them and see what can be done. So what if paid DLC and 4wd cars were banned? Would that offend people? I mean, there's dozens of other cars you could select

Are you going to set a pole for the race day? God I hope this race is any day except Aug 17th or I'm not going to be able to make it'

SE1 is full...if that's what you were going for. But, there are several spots left in SE2, so rallymorten might be able to let you in.
And he said it would be on a Saturday, probably the 4th or 11th. Pole...I'm unsure about this, since I'm not hosting the race.
Well, it is your race. But, I see a problem in banning DLC/4WD's, in that some people might complain that they won't be able to drive the car that they want. I assume you'll be able to come to a decision to either outright ban them or force them to add some extra weight.
joetruckv8Sign me up for either or,... I'm for certain come race day there will be a spot open'
I'm sure people won't mind that I take 2 places from SE2 and give them to SE1
4WD cars will run with 30 extra kg.
