I think PD was influenced by Spa for this track.

The elevation changes, the high speed kink on the back straight, like Blanchimont, and the scenery all remind me of Spa.
Although it doesn't have the Eau Rouge-Raidillon and obviously the tunnels and the bridge are not in Spa.

What do you think?

In reverse its truely nasty. I prefer normal direction. Its one of my favorites because it is also the one I drive most for endurance races.

I don't mind and I like the first, high-speed, left corner in reverse.

Ugh, I hate the first corner of GV Reverse. Anyone else remember that license test from GT1 with the Viper? It was way too easy to lose control.

Didn't play GT1 but I do remember some last minute spins with the Viper on GT2.:ouch:

Anyway, that corner can always be taken faster than you think which is even more vital in normal direction because of the following long straight. You should take it flat out to gain a second or two.

If they opened GV up a bit then it would feel as flowing as Spa. The first section is nice with the hilly left-right-left bit, it gets a bit to tight after that.
The atmosphere that you get when you drive it is probably the most Spa like.

Same. I know the normal direction better and I feel it's more flowing. Certainly nice too play on enduros. Put on some radio and there you go!
