Graphics are a mixed bag for this game. The cars and the outside cam in replays are not on par with GT7, but the cockpit view and the weather effects look really good!
Made my first video yesterday:

One thing that's unique to the Grid games - reverse layouts on most of the real-life tracks.
Ever wanted to drive Brands Hatch or Bathurst in reverse? You can and will in Grid Legends!

My biggest gripe is with the FFB which doesn't seem to work properly so most of the time you don't notice anything while racing.

I have no words to describe how I felt after watching that video you posted. I need to buy that game this week.
It is on offer on Xbox currently (not sure about PS) - contains tons of content. Story mode is very cheesy but fun. Career mode has masses to do after that.

Handling is more arcady than GT or FM, but you can still feel differences between different cars you drive.

Sadly, it was released 2 weeks before GT7 on PlayStation (which killed the game stone dead on release on PS, and i dont think the market is big enough on Xbox alone), which is a shame because its a worthy alternative and we desperately need competition on both PS and Xbox.

It'll never happen, but I wish someone would throw money at EA and convince them to make another Grid :(

Still salty that nobody bought this game
Yes it had problems, but it was still a damn good racing game
It's a very, very solid 'simcade' racer with some excellent touches like the race creator and the (cheesy) story mode.

"They don't make em like this anymore" - we'll they did here, and nobody bought it.
Preach

Just got the latest M4 iPad and had to give this one a try if only to flex the M4’s muscles and see how it runs.
Surprisingly to me, it runs at a smooth 60 fps (which actually feels even more fluid maybe due to the screen) and plays quite well for a simcade racer using DualSense. I do wish FFB through the joystick was more refined, but even still it’s probably the best mobile racing game I’ve played ever. Crazy how this thing can run on a 5mm thick tablet with no cooling and look this good.

Only thing I’m a bit sad about is lack of online multiplayer. At least there are leaderboards, but still, if it had multiplayer the $15 price tag would be criminal.

Drives me crazy, you get someone waxing lyrical about not having games like this and yet are the same ones that don't bother looking and, you know, buying the damn thing.
