PS4 Pro, G29, Normal Difficulty, quite a few hours in GT Sport (also 1,2,3 and 6), only single-player.
I have a few gripes which I'm hoping some of you might share or elaborate on:
If GT7 is a 2022 Racing Sim:
Why can I not pan the camera around my car/the cockpit?
Why can't I set the camera sensitivity to more than "bare minimum"?
Why is the menu for purchasing upgrades so unintuitive?
Why are differently colored wheels not grouped together in the customizing shop?
Why is there so little variety in wheels, which are car-agnostic?
Why can't I group or copy decals in the editor?
Why do all cars (even 4WD) keep spinning out or sliding, even under high grip/low power conditions?
Why are the licenses and the races so damn hard (almost impossible after the Alfa Romeo menu)?
Why does 200km/h still feel like 50km/h?
Why does the AI keep using the PIT maneuver, or just pushing me out of the way?
If the GT7 economy is good (and not focused on microtransactions):
Why are certain cars so expensive (even in terms of real money)?
Why do I earn so little when I race?
Why do I get the absolute lowest prize 95% of the time in the roulette?
If GT7 is a "return to form":
Why can't I sell cars?
Why do I have to wait for older models to be included in the Used Cars rotation? Why can’t I just race and buy whatever I want?
Why is the music so uninspired?
Why do I have the café man giving me tasks and showing me presentations like an MS Teams call with my boss?
Why is there so much emphasis on brands, and so much marketing material?
Why is everything locked unless you go online?
I’ve been waiting for a full GT release for a very long time, like most of you. It’s very sad to see other games doing all of this so much more intuitively.
To those of you who think the game is near-flawless, do you not have these issues, or do you not mind them?
Thanks for reading!
