Happy New Year's Eve. Regardless of what the calendar says. Personally I consider New Year's eve the true holiday. Reason being that New Year's Day is more of a clean up day than anything else. Only 4 days until our opening round at Interlagos.

Only 2 days until our season opener. Some notes for the upcoming season. I discovered something I didn't like about the Catch-up system I was trialing last season.

I throw it out and decided to go back to old system for for forgiving a handful of misses. So there is a scoring cap for the drivers championship best of 25% of the races which comes out to 13 of 17 races. Meaning you can miss 4 races without major consequences. After a driver reaches the scoring caps. Drivers will only be open to earn more drivers points by beating a previous score. And will only earn the amount it was beating by. Drivers at the scoring cap however will still earn full points for Manufacturers Championship.

Also reminder your are not locked into your ride until you make your first race start. However if change your ride between qualifying and the race before your first start. Your qualifying time will be disqualified and you'll any bonus points too. After your first start car changes must go through my Car Change Policy which essentially means you won't earn points for your first start with the new ride. Unless under rare specific circumstances that I may choose wave the penalty.

Hey guys busy night for me. Anyways less than 24 until the lobby opens. I've done some research to if I could find any historical significance for the Group C era at Interlagos. Despite the track has been in operation since May 1940 I've found nothing. The Japanese series never left Japan. IMSA only hold races mostly in the US with a yearly stop in Canada. The FIA's World Sportscar Championship (WSC) a predecessor to the World Endurance Championship (WEC) did tour internationally outside of Europe. However I can't find any records of them making a stop at Interlagos between 1953 and 1992 of which the series went defunct. There is also no lap records for Group C era at Interlagos. The track has never even hosted historical events for the class. So our race show be viewed as an inaugural race.

That's okay less than 24 hours remaining I still have picked a car yet. Anyways see you guys tomorrow night, evening, or whatever time of day it is for you.

Hey guys I been asked by poolshark3436 to move our race at Daytona 1 week from 1/18 to 1/25. The date is open but, I don't wish to move it if it will cause anyone to be unable to attend.
