Why complaining about Tokyo. Even ignoring the fact I had the 2nd slowest fastest lap.
I'm the one throw away a good finish. Because I decided make sure the walls were working properly. I can confirm the they do.
I wasn't complaining,I was merely pointing out that I was not fast at Tokyo, there is a big difference between the two. I didn't count how many pits everyone made but I am guessing that I probably pitted the least for damage, that was on lap 3 after a spin and a wall touch on lap 2. The rest of my stops were scheduled stops for fuel and tires. That doesn't change the fact that my car was as slow as anyone's on the straights, I could only hit 211, I saw others going 220 or more. I had a lot of downforce, I wanted the car to drive nice because you must be so precise not to hit walls, it also should have worked good in the rain, which it did rain as I correctly guessed. But it gave me no lap time advantage in the dry or wet.

I did state the Tokyo East tracks are difficult to setup for. I went with balance setup for downforce because how important straightaway speed is for passing on the Tokyo East layouts. Somehow MrMidn7ght setup his Porsche that could beat me on straights and was out cornering me. The Porsche should lack straightaways compared to the Jaguar, Mazda, and Nissan. So I’m a bit curious what kind of setup he found.

Hey guys sorry for the lack posting. Had an unusually busy week for me. Anyways this week we're at Tsukuba Circuit. A small stop go style road course. Rain is possible by random chance. As of for our race. Expect on track passing to be extremely difficult if not impossible at this performance. A good starting and pit strategy will be very important. Very low average speed means very short race. A 1 stop strategy on is possible but, may require some fuel savings depending on the car and driver. A 2 stop strategy on may also work.

Oh yeah a notice to our Brazilian friends. The US is in Daylight Savings as of March 9th. I'm not sure on how clock change relates to Brazil time. If you do not practice Daylight Savings with the US. Then our races will be 1 hour earlier for you.

3/29, 9. 1 Hour of Tsukuba
Race Details
Tsukuba Circuit, 1 Hour Timed Race, Late Morning Start, Time Change x4, Night Driving No, Weather Change Random, Rain Maybe, Tires x3, Fuel x4, Fuel At Start 99%, 15 Minutes GT Group Qualifying, Corner Penalties Strong, Pit Line Penalty No, Points Payout x1

Lobby opens in less than 12 hours for our short track race at Tsukuba. Unfortunately I've been handicapped twice before this race. My favorite controller is out of service as Wednesday because some of the buttons stopped working. And on top of that I'm now sick with a cold. Yes I still plan to host. If race car drivers can still race when sick. I can play video game. Just hope I only sneeze on the straights. See you soon guys. Sniff!

My friend raced motocross as a kid, I wasn't unusual for a kid to barf inside of his closed face helmet. Take that!!!!

I wonder how real race car drivers deal with sneezing, coughing, or eye irritations while driving. Makes me think that some single car crashes are not always the car's. And maybe the just sneezed at the wrong time. And blame the car for having some kind of mechanical issues to save face.

I can tell you that they don't pull over to sneeze or cough. It's kind of funny, I used to have real bad allergies for the entire summer but never once did they ever bother me when I had my helmet on.

I tend to easily get sick respiratory illnesses, but rarely do I stomach viruses.

Only 2 days left until our next race. This week went fast for me at least. I'm starting to feel better not 100% yet.

Anyways are next race is our 1st stop at Watkins Glen. We'll be racing them in what I believe to be the correct order IMSA did. So the long track with extension nicknamed the boot is up 1st. Despite using most of the short track. The boot changes track characteristics quite a bit. Giving the more of a stop go feel while significantly decreasing the average speed. Though long track was still in the top half of the tracks for average speed this season. So necessary I wouldn't call it slow either.

As for out race. I think pit strategy is going to this race very interesting. Soft tires are very fast especially minimal fuel. However tires also wear very quickly. Softs the whole race will require twice as many pit stops. So can softs make up 2 extra stops in traffic. Would a combination strategy with softs and mediums work better. Maybe mediums the full race would work better than one may think.

Track limit penalties may also factor in to the results. It's easy to exceed track limits inmost corners, even some spots that are straight, strange track limits at this place.

Corner Penalties are weak for this race and no line penalty because I hate the pit entry line here.

Race day at Watkins Glen. See you racers in a few hours. After this race we hop across the pond to Brands Hatch. Before we go into our 1 week Easter break. Before returning to the 2nd running 2 hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

Hey @fastone371 remember when you said no to do this Group C league. Nobody would show up. I don't think you're claimed aged well. Though if I'm being honest. Even I didn't expect it to go this well. I wouldn't call these cars easy to drive either. Never would have thought we beat our attendance record 3 times. I was only intending run Group C league for this season but, I may have to reconsider for next year.

That would be unfortunate, think variety

Sorry for the silence. Another eventful week for. Anyways we're about 1 day and half away from our next race at Brands Hatch GP. This historic narrow hilly stop go like British circuit. Was once a major world class circuit even hosting F1 Grand Prix. This is also our last of this 4 week stretch races. We're on break next week for Easter before returning to the 2 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Followed by Fuji. I should probably repost race detail for Brands Hatch. See you tomorrow.

Hey guys reminder that we are off this weekend. The 2 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps next week. Followed by our last stop in the East at Fuji. Rain is possible for this race. Though any rain will be by random chance. Actually rain is possible 5 of the last 6 races. Only exception is our race at the Watkins Glen Short track. So make sure you have wets available. Enjoy your Easter Weekend.
