disagree. lot of examples who was born ordinary guys, but they had willpower, great willpower, and they were gaining experience and reached their target.
Example with real drive - the same, as longer u drive, ure gaining more experiense .
So i think PD must kick nerds who is cutting corners etc, and choose only good ones

PD give users another contest with not perfect regulations and some legal possibilities to cheating, cutting corners on grass etc. as usual, many players uses these possibilities to improve their times. so why PD must kick players instead of making a well tested, bug fixed regulations contest?

TALENT is no more than ability to learn and then rememeber something really quickly. one man can do well something after 10 attempts, while other man can do the same after only 3 attempts

I didn't whant to go so deep and involve myself but you've forsed me to:
I raced Gokart once in Denmark and there was a guy who's father is the owner of that Gokart Hall. Well, he was good experienced with that track, and when we raced he did the best lap 2 seconds less than mine.
My weight was 112 kg that time, 78 kg his.
He raced there hundreds of times, I raced 10 laps only.
So where is a talent at all?

well i think they must kick cheaters, or do u have any reasones why they need just to but brick wall all the track long, not to cut corners? i mean if u cun corners, also use joypad instead of wheel, its bad. players must be kicked for cuttings.
GT Academy is the place for real fair drivers, who has aggressive style, but fair one, but not for nerds.

i think both of you are the same drivers (Olegonic and driver from Denamrk), non of u is more talanted than other. Im cart-racer in the past. Talented people are open their talent during the aggressive race or their sportsman relations between each other on the track

I think PD knows what to do at the very end and in final round (national Final) they(we) will use wheels only and it will be like natural selection - Only experienced wheel users will pass through.

1. Leaf is not the Prius version of Nissan... Leaf is 100% Electric and Prius its an Hibrid.

2. If a person do 100 attempts on a particular challenge and make 90% inside a gap of 0.1 sec, maybe have more "Talent" (as you said) than a person who made 10 attempts and made a sower time. Am i right?

Thant issue of "1000 x 10" is very tricky.

no talented at all))

some people just have better reaction, senses, muscle response and memory, than the others. of course training time in particular activity is matters too

as i understand post about two cart-racers, there was one heavyweight and rookie driver and the other one was smaller and more experienced, and that other one was much faster on track than heavy one. situation looks like logical and predictaible, or im just dont understand it correctly?

my previous message which contains "who think that" was answer to words "Depends on who said this."

In a Kart, its predictable that a guy who weights more 30Kg than another, even with more skill, will lose... xD "skinny" and lightweight guys allways do better times in Kart. (or at least i think they do...)

The point was that I raced not worse than him, may be (and only) my weight was slowing me down.
Thus, the question was: I had nor practice neither experience on that track and still could do well enough comparing with one who's claimed this track to be his home, so what makes us to be almost equal ???????

you have small piece of practice on that kind of activity on that track in that kart, so it allows you to demonstrate some result, which is not that good, that can be, if you have more practice on that track and will be even more better after some weight reduction training. another man in your situation can do it much faster. or much slower. no talent. just physiology and mental characteristics, willpower, etc.

bigger balls )))

Any big NFS names coming out for this? I'd imagine Alan wouldn't be elidgable but people like MrRacer i'd expect to try?

Talents in racing? Are you joking me? It's all about expirience. There happen to be one-two legend drivers in 50 years with talent like Ayrton Senna, but talent will never replace practice.

Not talking about GT5 and GT Academy :D

the intangible talent prolly matters quiet a bit in real life racing since there is very limited amount of track time one does get.
In GT5 however where there is no limit how much u can practice it doesnt matter one bit.
