Not to sound like an unappreciative child but... Really? Last year they gave us 8 cars and an official GTA suit/helmet; and now the "prize" is a "special 15th anniversary bonus event" which more than likely is just another over-taking challenge with bad AI's. Take note that it is not only available to anyone who clears bronze times (lol) but it won't even surface until after all is said and done.

You can only sort by country for the fifth/main event the first four rounds are global leaderboards only, as it doesn't matter where you place in those.

They're...interesting.

It's improved, but only at low slip angles. At low slip angles there's some good feel and you can really massage the car into doing what you want.

At high slip angles it might as well be GT5. If you're over a certain slip angle, you have no control at all. If you're understeering you're gonna go into a wall. If you're oversteering, you're gonna spin.

So yeah, great as long as you don't overstep the bounds of what the physics is capable of modelling sensibly.


Also, the tracks are still smooth as glass. I think playing other games has spoiled me in that regard.

The biggest change is probably the suspension. I had a really flamboyant ride in the Nissan Leaf, on the replay it looked like a was a bank robber driving a getaway car!

I really like the fact that now if you go out of the track (really sensitive about that though), it invalids your time, but it let you continue practicing on the track.

Curious about the fact it requires a passport to get in the GT Academy

Uhh, miles are better because 100kmh is lame, but 100mph is moving

But seriously, no idea, probably an oversight on PD's part.

With kmh you'll have 60% more accurate apex speeds though

The Leaf, 370z, and once you've got better than bronze in every event, you get 2 extra events using the GTR black edition, and the third event with the black edition is unlocked when the competition closes.

I'm in the top 10 for now & the bloody traction control was on 7, even though I changed it
to 'off' previously.
i was infront of the ghost up until Stowe corner, where I outbraked myself. Pretty annoying!

I'm going on holiday soon which doesn't help. There'll be numerous drivers tonight that'll break the 2:19 barrier

They're better but the back-end seems slightly too loose on the 370Z.

It's not massively different, it just feels more responsive and more realistic.

This 👍. Feels more responsive, and you can feel the weight transition a little more to, best example is the sausage kerb coming onto the straight if you hit that, you can feel the weight and entire car more It's quite nice, I've really enjoyed it so far! All my times are done while commentating, so I now have a sore throat from doing 3 hours of videos non stop talking haha! The queue for videos is like 10 hours long :/ quite funny really haha!

I'll have a proper go this afternoon, but I think you'll like it twissy !

Sure it's not, when you click on a name on the leaderboard here

it tells you the settings used and BB isn't listed. I've not played it yet though. Pesky work.

In the UK you mean I guess, times are down to low 2:18's already on the global leaderboard.
