I have only seen bits and pieces... Anchor Man I presume. My wife quotes that movie all the time. She thinks its unbelievable that I haven't seen that movie through.
 
hahaha you guys have to see Anchorman, man!! Will Ferrel is the funniest guy ever. Just hilarious. A must see. And it gets better every time you watch it.

make it 5, I'm in Encinitas. And instead of organazing a Golden Arches run, why not organize a trip to K-1 Speed? : ) The first time I went there I had a blast, and no joke, on my way back home guess who happend to pull up next to me at a stoplight near the La Costa resort? Boris fukin Said. I think he lives in Carlsbad, and was on his way to the resort for a massage probably. But it was a real trip to see him

Don't piss off fat people at McDonalds...

So I was ordering Chicken McNuggets at McDonalds, I here grumbling behind me, I don't pay it too much attention, I go to pay and since I am a nerd I have a GT wallet that came with my game. The guy behind the counter some how saw the logo and started talking to me about my wallet, I tell him it came with the signature edition and I had to order it off ebay yada yada. He takes my card and starts to move slowly while asking questions, and incidently he asked about GT Academy, I said "yea I tried out". I hear more grumbling behind me so I try to hurry things up. It took him so long to complete the processing of my order, I would be upset too, so I understand why people are grumbling behind me. Then a girl hands me my food on a tray, and I kid you not, I turn around and this fat guy smacks my mcnuggets out of my hand all over the floor and says "Noone cares about your stupid academy your not supposed to hold up the line."

I stood there in shock...with my nuggets all over the floor and just stared at the ground not knowing what to do. Everyone kind of got quiet...one of the workers came to help me clean up the mess, then they gave me my food, I got in my car and started laughing hysterically for about 15 mins hahahhaa

Did he try to eat the nuggets off the floor? :lol:

I've seen similar behavior a few times. It's always in the ones inside the Wal Mart's too.

The funny thing is I believe Boris is partners with the guy who started K1 in that project, also, he lives in Encinitas I think, right by you.

Thats a great idea. I am definitely down for some K-1 action. Was just thinking of going there to see if any of the virtual stuff I have learned in the last month and a half applies. I would also be willing to drive to miramar speed circuit. K-1 is closer, but whatever.

I vote for miramar speed circuit, K1 karts are kinda slow :)

Saturday would probably work for me. Afternoon would be optimal. That way I could get in a morning beach vball session.

Midweek also works though.. Anyone seen any coupons, groupons, or any other method of saving us all a few $$. I know they pop up every so often.
 
I work from 8-5pm weekdays, then have class at Mesa Saturday mornings. Damn you Business Management, why is the only Marketing class on Saturdays haha. Actually I am with Cenk, after 5pm on weekdays would be best.

I might have to go karting with you guys when if you're going while I'm down in SD for a triathlon next month.
 
Maybe we should just have one day we all agree on where we get people from California and any other states that are visiting and setup a go kart event at Miramar Speed Circuit. Would be pretty crazy right?
 
February 26th, 2011 which is on a Saturday at Miramar Speed Circuit. Does this sound good to anyone and everyone who wishes to come Go Karting with us? If we do get enough people, maybe we can all pitch in for the Championship with qualifying and race plus trophy for the top 3. I still need to contact Miramar Speed Circuit and see if they still have this package up.This would be a great event to pull the community together, meet the people behind the screen names. Have some food, drinks after wards. I wish we had a regional section on GTP, so we could invite more people from our community who don't look at this section of the forums.
