Maybe I'm just the last to know, but I discovered this weekend that the front aero from GT-Auto is completely cosmetic. I knew this is the case with the extensions, but until now I believed it would be different for the front-aero.
If you only add the adjustable rear-wing (which gives additional downforce) you can see the (greyed out) value for front aero too. With the McLaren F1 for example adding the 80.000 Cr front-aero doesn't change that value at all. It is 20 without front-aero and stays there no matter what you add.
In case of the F1 I'm actually glad about this, since the front-aero is just ugly.
Since a lot of tunes still come with full GT-Auto aero, I just wanted to bring this up to tell everybody about the design-possibilities offered by this fact.
Are there any cars where adding front-aero from GT-Auto actually changes something?
