Hello. I don't normally start threads unless and I really have to. And I have to otherwise I'm in danger of burning my PS2, copy of GT4 and my wheel. I have searched and the problem arises but no solution.

My wheel is permanently locked in 200° mode. I haven't used it for a while and I just set it up to have a crack on GT4 and it worked fine. Turned off my PS2 and then when I turned it back on... only 200°. Tried everything, SELECT+R3+RIGHT PADDLE. Unplugging / plugging in everything in various combinations. Nothing. When I press the combination, the light blinks very very dimly and the thing beeps and attempts to move but nothing happens...

Please help me! I'm going to lose faith soon...

The wheel is getting power properly?

If you open it up (I never have except the pedals) check to see if the locking mechanism might be getting stuck and wont allow it to change to 900 degrees. I'm just making guesses here.

My thoughts were similar to yours. I was thinking the wheel wasn't getting enough power (hence the dim light). I'm not sure how feasible that is though. It's baffling eh!
