You know I completely forgot about that one. The man was a mad man for taking on the big three but hell he nearly pulled it off. Had it not been for politics odds are his cars would have done well. They were way ahead of their time when produced in safety features and innovations.
 
I can't find where I can buy that movie, that movie was great. The TUCKER, with it's rotary helicopter engine, rear mounted a whole hide away area under the passenger dash board in case of a roll over, padded saftey "bars" all over the place in case of an impact, bucket seats, and a TURNING HEADLIGHT that car was beautiful.
 
I am trying to remember vairous bits of the movie, but it has been so long. I could have sworn Tucker did something special with the seat belts. I believe originally cars at that time only had a lap restraint, but didn't he add the shoulder strap as well?

It was that it had seat belts at all. The big three didn't want seat belts because it implied that cars were unsafe.
