Hello, I've done a search but I cannot find a discussion related to this so I'm desperate and going to make a new post.

I just got a decent laptop to replace my broken netbook. I bought GTR 2 (for $8!) at the EB next to where I got the laptop and so far it's a really fun race sim. My problem is that the box came with a copy of GT Legends which from the description and everything sounds like a ton of fun. Here is where my problem occurs:

GTR 2 installs perfectly and runs the same.

GT Legends installs, then on restart Windows 7 craps itself - reformats itself to default settings (bye bye my first couple hours of getting the machine running, ugh), and you cannot play it.

From my scouring of the internet it appears to be that the copy protection on GT Legends is by Star Force and the driver seriously does not get along well with Windows 7. I have read posts elsewhere by people saying they've gotten their copy to work on Windows 7 by removing Star Force or through some other workaround, but I am unable to contact these people or they don't get back to me.

So does anybody have any experience with this problem or any suggestions besides 'play something else' :sly:?

Yeah there seems to be some problem I have digital version from raceroom, very cheap. It works fine with Windows7 and no starforce :)
