The blur is very weird, the tunnel blur is good but the blur on the road completely takes away all effect. I suggest you blur the tunnel, and the road with a different focus point to fix it, because the angle is very promising 👍

+1 The blur is in the completely wrong direction. Otherwise it looked good! :)

EDIT: Perhaps it's done on purpose?

Well, the thing is, I separated the tunnel section from the road section. In the road I was guided by the white road line, and in the tunnel, the natural tunnel and car. I should have ignored the road lines, and go with the car flow, but it just didn’t feel right. I’ll may redo it again, or do another image because it is difficult to work with motion/radial blur in this one. It is a shame, because I worked so hard in the car cleaning (normally I just surface blur the whole car, and in this time did the lens blur in the car by parts. Thanks for the comments 👍

You have made a great, great job on the car LDS, very clean indeed!!! Now the blur, you must fix that. And like you have said its hard to work with two different blurs on the same shot. Anyway mate, great effort:tup:

Definitly go with the tunnel guidelines, think that will make it better 👍

As for cleaning, look out for those lens blurs, too large area blurring will make your car look blodgy. With blur filters, I experience most cleaness with this order: surface blur -> smart blur -> lens blur. Afterwards you may need to soften the edges as they tend to get rather sharp with filter blurring 👍

*EDIT*

I know where you made a mistake. When blurring with the four-part method, as I think you did, I think you've forgot to set the blur center to the left for the road, and the center was still focused on the right when you blurred the road. I think that's what happened, I tend to forget to set the center point as well sometimes :)

Thanks again for the comments and tips everyone. I tried your method Bram, but I just can’t seem to get along with the Smart Blur. Anyway, I just changed my entry. It is a bit more my style and it doesn’t seem so boring like the other one. What I regret is that the cleaning doesn’t come has good has the other one, but the blur is perfect IMO.

I love the new entry LdS! Perfect blur and I really love the horizontal blur the sky has. Haven't seen that before. But theres a little yellow spot in the sky in the lower right quadrant. Looks a paint brush gone awry. Really awesome shot tough.:D:tup:

It may happen that I can't remember it but... Haven't you used that Ibiza shot before in a comp Alex?

Love the new shot LdS. 👍
Ditto that Bram, I think not only was in a previous comp (in which he won with it) but it was also in his gallery
Meh, I'll never be as good in 2.0 as the rest of you guys..... :guilty:

Well, there's nothing wrong with entering a shot from your gallery. But I swear I've that shot in an earlier comp... Oh well...

We're not good either, we've just been practicing, that's what it's all about. You should see my earliest works (back in the days with my other account where I got banned...) those aren't really much special works either...

You must be kidding pink the floyd. Your early work was amazing.
Anyway, thanks for the comments guys. When I saw this theme my first thought was that amazing alexwrc Image of the Seat.
And I really also think that that shot was used before

Nice work! But shouldn't you read the rules about preview size one more time? You should also include something like "Final Entry" with perhaps, red letters? ;)

It's no big deal. Just wanted to let you know.
