GT Planet Compliment Thread

The purpose of this thread is for you to post something positive about someone, or something on this thread you like.

I've noticed that GT5's online is quite hostile, and it's sad that so many people online are horrible to deal with. This thread is supposed to do the opposite. Instead of attacking someone, say a compliment about someone you know who is great to you in a way. The AUP says you can't post names in a way as if you were attacking them, but says nothing about saying it in a positive way.

One of my favorite members on GT Planet is bobert-power. He is an excellent racer and even though I've barely raced with him, every race was fun and clean. 👍

Crap like that annoys the hell out of me.

Anyway, I'd say cphbullet, ch1polte. DLR and Slashfan are also very helpful. And credit to Famine who does.a great job moderating these forums. And of course Jordan for making these forums. Many others too, just can't think of them right now.

There are a lot of good members in the marketplace thread that just give cars out to random people, those are my favorite members. They have inspired me to follow suit.

So... I went to a nordschleife free run room in the Japan server (everyone was Japanese). They were the chillest people I've ever seen. There were no tank car/X1 trolls, no yelling over the mics (infact none of the 16 people were on mics), etc. Everybody just drove their cars and minded their own business. No hp/pp regulations were needed. It would be great if everyone were like this! There, thats my compliment. To the Japanese.

Well, a lot of people to compliment, but the names that first come in mind are:

Amar, Tenacious D, Abraxas, R1600Turbo, HuskyGT, C-ZETA (great reviews!) and MOTORTRENDMitch, such a nice guy, it organizated our fun and great Secret Santa Event...

When I see those guys in any post, I'm sure I can read what they are writing because it'll be useful.

Those, for now, deserve my compliment.

Also GTP_J_Turner/Symp(DTM) and R1600Turbo (FMSC) Running awsome series which I really enjoyed/enjoy taking part in.

I've raced with many excellent clean racers here on GTP here is some people I've meet on my GT adventures.

Goruk - my DTM rival lol love to battle with him
Outlaw - I like his track write ups to help other drivers practice for races
Wardez - I love his live racing streams and great driver

Aderrrm/R1600Turbo/NepalII/outlaw/Forcednduckshn these guys are just insanely fast and I learned alot from them from watching replays and racing them.

Keif, for some reason easily remembered and when he talks it's best to listen, or laugh.

Shem, first person I could remember on here by name and not avatar lol. He's pretty cool and dang funny! Check out the book of turismo thread for proof.

Shwartz, very active in multiple sub forums. You're polite and made the book of turismo... Il have to modify my barn so you can instruct our pray day. (a pun on track day )

Jordan, obviously, and most of the mods seem pretty cool (though I do detect the occasional power trip) but Famine stands out for sure.

Other than that, I like some of the guys in the What did you see today? thread who post up such awesome photos of "real life" car spots, kudos particularly to Rue, Cano, IcyJ but there are many more. That thread is a total goldmine of awesome car pics!

EDIT: Nice to see some of the full time trolls/whiners seem to have moved on from GTP lately, presumably realising the pointlessness of endlessly complaining about a game in a forum dedicated to that game...duh.

Of course Jordan and Moderators like Famine or AMG deserve a "thank you" for keeping things right. Also I'd like to thank the following:

Igwyana, Starlight, Monatsende, teecro, cryptomanic, GasolineJunkie. These are the main people who helped me with collecting various stuff for GT5, including tickets, cars and gear.

Also, RKM Motorsport and RVR Tuners, for turning those cars in racing machines! There are many people who deserve a "thank you", but one post isnt big enough to fit them all...
