Nice EG time Smoke, hey that S2000 is really a b****, can't manage to her below what I made just running consistent .057-.067 times. Oh well, moving along now with others.

Quick question, what should a well tuned Challenger SRT8 run? I'm working on it and my Camaro SS '10 (which is .03 off pace but I put it on hold ...just doing quicktunes right now

I haven't got to play with it anymore since my last tune, it still has some more in it*

Lol, well don't give up on it. It's no fun if you don't have to work for it**

It's a pretty heavy beast, so use a lower tranny flip to get all those kgs moving.
I was using a rather standard suspension so I'm sure a little tweaking of that couldn't hurt.

How long in my rx7 I run from 0 to 60 3.367 n from 0 to 100 4.933 i get 9.925 : but sometime I run 0 to 60 3.355 n the same 0 to 100 n I get 9.927 why ?

Easy, you are missing the correct shifts*

Now I ran 0-60 2.355 n 0-100 4.928 n i got 9.924 how long dost it take for one you to tune a car and make it one of the fastest ?

For me it takes about a solid hour to find the right flip, tweak each gear, fine tune the suspension, and then nail the time.

That does not account for the many, many, many tunes done @ Indy, and the multiple failed attempts to knock off an already posted time.

When you hit a wall and can't seem to make the car go any faster.. Save your set up to another setting sheet and try another flip** start fresh and take your time when adjusting gears inside your transmission.

Lol a solid hour. for it take days for me to fet solid rock days to get close to the leader board time

Lol, dont let me make you believe it is that easy. Think about it this way..
I picked up tuning the Corvette when I first got into drag racing. (Almost a year ago)
When I joined GTP back in September I was already a competitive tuner running a 9.267.
It wasn't until just a few weeks ago that I hit my 9.252 time.

So, if you really want think about it.. It's taken me a year. Sounds pathetic* lol


& I'm sure if you ask some of the other guys you will hear very similar stories.

Lol but you tuned once and lefted alone the you got back on it
