I don't think I'll ever be able to get Premium due to PayPal, let alone change my email address on Ebay.

Simply because our family doesn't use the ancient 'cred-it card' and nor do I.

Careful guys, at this rate there'll be more Premos than regular members, and we wouldn't want Premium to become a fad, would we ;)

(still, Jordan wouldn't be complaining)

I think over half the current premium members have gone premium recently, i first started the boost in Premium members in August or something (can't remember, sometime back when i had my old copy of gt4:D), and since then it's continued heaps.:)

And what's wrong with having more premium members than regular members?

Oh yeah Jordan would be rich J/K:D

There were about 59 premium members at Christmas '05. There's 103 now. Considering the amount of people who may have joined before the holiday season, I'd think that 20 or so members may have joined recently.

And what's wrong with having more premium members than regular members?

One of the biggest reasons to buy premium is to be "exclusive". It wouldn't be very exclusive to be in a club where 60% of regular posters here are premium, now would it? ;)

You'd have no choice but to cancel your premium, in that case ;)

Or sign up for GTP Extra Special Mud Bath service. It comes with a glowing neon username (in the standard color of your choice) and a metallic badge that says "Extra Special". Extra Special members also get a real naughty pictures thread. Which means only people 18 and older are allowed to join. Even if your law is different than 18, the site is hosted in the US, so it has to follow our rules. Sorry.

I believed you until you mentioned the mud bath part.

Agreed. Unless if you want Jordan to revamp premium, then everyone needs to sign up.

Green? That's it? Can't afford Extra Special Mud Bath, eh? Sorry, I don't know the feeling...

I can't think of any "solution" to the lack-of-Premium-exclusivity "problem" that isn't unfair or wouldn't encourage post whoring.

Face it, the red username and yellow gtP badge may replace the post count as the primary means by which one can determine whether a user is a GTP regular or not.

I'd pay more for a C16 account, versus a Super Unleaded account. Fifty dollars a year? Hell, come next pay check I'll get myself an upgrade to Nitromethane.
