Tire wear ON
Grip Real
Damage Light
Penalties Off
Slipstream Weak


Basic Rules
Keep racing clean as possible
BRAKE when needed!!
2 tires on track at all times ( unless some type of accident)
Cautious on ENTERING/EXITING pits

Pitting
Pitting is allowed only after LAP 11 and before LAP 30

Watch speed entering pits
-No ramming into someone else while entering.

Exiting pits
-keep left until reaching top speeds
-look for oncoming drivers

Excepting up to 12 Drivers
Prizes for 1st place and 6th place

I think that about covers it all.

Whats the procedure on exiting the pits? Are we allowed to re-join the track just as we regain control from the AI, or do we have to follow the entire "Indy" pit road?

Mack K... yes you are able to rejoin after you gain control. Just please watch for the faster cars passing by (if any). You do NOT need to go the entire pit road. We want to try to keep it clean and smooth during pitting. 👍

GTP as in a gtplanet account (this site) and I'm doing my best to get em into it.

You don't need a GTP account to enter the event. Not really necessary. But I will need a PSN account to add them in if they wish to participate. They also would need to be clean drivers and know the rules to this event.

*NOTE* mics will be OFF during this event. Keeping the room as smooth as possible. (Will consider switching it to ON if people want it)

I was thinking of running an open room practice session for ANYONE who wishes to try this out on Friday around 7pm/8pm Eastern Time. Saturday sometime in the afternoon?? If ANYONE would like to show up and get their tuning in. Also get a glimpse of the driving styles of everyone. I'll post the room number up on here. Sound good?

I am pretty sure I could attend this. If not I'll tell you but as of now I can make this. Also, has anyone got any idea how much HP/Downforce balance you guys are doing. Indy Oval isn't too bad but anyway just wondering for a basic idea and a decent lap time too would be nice.

--I'll open the lobby room in about an hour. Will probably run for about 1 hour. Depending on who shows. I'll Post the room number for the PRACTICE session on here. All is welcome 👍

It will be set to a rolling start single file. OR would you prefer a 1 paced lap with correct order of qualifiers. (sometimes it won't be right when we start the race. And don't want to cause people getting mad over their start position.)

RACE DAY PROCEDURES​

12:00pm US Eastern​

-Room will open 30 minutes before race time.(practice/setup)
-I will reset room 15 minutes before race time for Qualifying
-It will be a grid start. (rolling start seemed more of a lag at start)
-12pm RACE START (will ask everyone to head to pit road)
-Drive as clean as possible.
-Bumping WILL happen.
-Accidents may occur.
-Nobody wins on the 1st turn (ease up)
