Doesn't Callaway still build their own GT3 Corvettes separate from GM? Wonder how this'll affect them, if at all.
GM gave Callaway permission to make a GT3 version of the C6 and C7 generations as each manufacturer can only have one homologated car at a time. So once the C8.R gets homologated the Callaway C7 will only be eligible for series' allowing older cars like GT America (if it hasn't already been deemed ineligible due to it's age, I don't know how long a car can race after the production version has been discontinued).

Not sure what Callaway's plans are, but it would be nice to see them race stateside more.

For those that don't know

Definitely shows how much trouble they’re having getting entrants for the race. I think I might skip this one, just won’t be the same without the international appeal. The 6 Hour, on the other hand, should be incredible with 70 cars entered.

Any advice for a noob? So my enjoyment of GT7 has translated to me booking a ticket to go to the Silverstone 500 in early May. I'm going on the Sunday.

Is ear protection necessary? If so can you recommend any headsets?

Do you have any other tips? Thanks!
