Gt sport keeps freezing when i'm in an online lobby and turns my ps4 pro off, its only done it since the system software update was installed, but I'm not sure if its that or gt sport, all my other games work fine its just gt sport that does it
 
Something up with the livery editor, the R33 GT-R, or the combination of them.

It seems that it reverts back to the original size for some reason, OK that's a bug. But the really weird thing is that those wheels can only be selected at +1 and +2 size in the livery editor, the stock size is out of question. :odd:

EDIT - it's just the preview that is bugged, the car has correct sized wheels in the garage.

Since 1.16 my connection in an online race has been 1 bar, nothing has changed, my connection is perfect as its always been. Shows at full bars in lobby and warm-up but goes down to 1 bar when the race starts. Dont know if it effects my actual game with lag, i dont notice any, but im not sure if the other drivers see me lagging? But its annoying my eyes terrible much to see -.-

Update: there seems to be a similar issue on the Pikes Peak Audi (Video below not mine)



Parts of the needles appear and disappear constantly :confused:


Update #3: Happens on the new R35 NISMO as well. Cars are fine on other tracks, like Suzuka and Tsukuba. Can't really understand what's going on..
 
There is still a graphic glitch when the interior of the car is shaking when you stop or even drive on Nurburgring.
 
It appears PD created more issues than they solved with 1.16.
Fanatec starts vibrating in the middle of a race and only way to get it to stop is restart game and wheel.
Sometimes when turning game on I get a black screen with a loading circle but game wont load, have to restart.

Hi, has this vibration issue been fixed? Does this issue just show up in sport mode, or in lobby and arcade mode as well?

Not a bug more like a request for buggy DS4 controllers. Would it be possible to adjust the range on the triggers? I now have 2 controllers that won't give 100% throttle anymore on R2.

No, I had it happen to me Friday 4/20 and one day last week. So far it has only happened in Sport Mode, it happens after the qualifying screen appears. If you hold on to the wheel between end of Time Trial and the beginning of the race you can feel the wheel "twitch" especially right after a screen change. I have been ignoring it lately and starting the race with a vibrating wheel, it goes away within a half lap or so.

This bug don't have any influence on the car performance strangely but the noise is very annoying.
When using a very low final gear the car cough when accelerate . I remember having the same problem on others cars like GTR Gr3 . You have to set the same gearbox with a higher final gear ratio number to fix it.


Do you mean the sound effect that matches that bouncing tach? If that's what you mean I think it is just gear lash in the drive train, you can see the tach bouncing in sync with the sound. With a real low numerical gear ratio (high top speed setting) there is not enough load on the engine to keep the trans and differential loaded, so its "bouncing" on the gear train lash. . I think its actually very realistic that PD thought deeply enough to include that in the sound. I have a customer with a Cobra kit car that has a 514 Ford engine with an aggressive roller cam and a manual transmission. It does this exact thing driving 25 MPH in 2nd gear. !st would be unnecessarily high RPM's, 3rd would really be lugging the motor, 2nd just happens to be where the cam lift/duration/lobe separation puts the engine in the RPM range just below where it starts making loads of torque and doesnt run the smoothest.

I understand your point but in this case there is no difference between the 2 gearboxes settings at the wheel axel. Both settings have the same shift point for each gear and the same speed at a given rpm for a given gear. This is why i don't understand the 2 differents behaviors .... i'm not a mechanic specialist but it seems strange to me .

Take the first setting for the 6th gear for example.
1,725 6th gear ratio for a final gear 2,000
At 7000 rpm engine rotation it give 7000 : 1,725 : 2,000 = 2029 rpm at the wheel axel

Second setting for the 6th gear for example.
0,865 6th gear ratio for a final gear 3,995
At 7000 rpm engine rotation it give 7000 : 0,863 : 3,995 = 2030 rpm at the wheel axel

Just a guess by what car sounds like, it doesn't seem to be engine related, I could be completely wrong though.

Must be this. Also after 1.16 , speed showed for each gears at the max rpm don't match with the ratios . Anyway..... this is not very important actually in this game , gears settings and tricks are not essentials to have a performant gearbox. The only still important thing is to adapt some gears to a special track , intermediary well setted gears are crucial at suzuka for example.
 
If I scroll through a friends “life log” and select a livery they have reposted from the livery browser, the left hand bar (which normally shows my friends’ details) changes to the details of the livery creator.
 
Apparently i find out something about the no music problem during time trial. This only occurs when i drive in time trial without HUD when i choose the HUD from two types the music play normally.
 
I often get disconnected from a race entry when the car is still running qualifying. So I've made a habit of exiting, collecting all the rewards and waiting in the selection screen 1 minute prior to race start.

This morning, I tried an arcade race. And on the loading screen it's a split screen showing the interior and exterior. When choosing a garage car w/ custom livery it does not show personal decals.
 
The penalty system is still a mess. It drives away (pun not intended) some of the A*/S guys like myself because I can't avoid some drivers' mistakes in front
 
Whenever I qualify for a daily race and quit the qualifications, after submitting the time I see a black screen after seeing Online saving blink in the down-right corner of my screen, and the game freezes, I have to quit to XMB and restart it, only to find out that my time wasn't registered. Also yesterday I was able to play the daily races but today i'm stuck on PREPARING TO MATCH permamently.

For referrences yes I updated PS4 to the latest firmware, I did redownload the whole game, I have no idea what is going on. What's the point of the Sport mode if I can't even play it, strangely enough, no such bugs happen with the Online FIA Cups :)
 
Sorry if someone has alrewdy addressed this bug, but I've just found out that the game crashes whenever you try to skip forward or rewind in your saved race replays.
 
Neutral is not registering, all gears work, but no neutral. This problem only occurred after update 1.18.
I use a thrustmaster th8a shifter, anyone else having this problem?
clutch still works, but when gear lever is positioned in neutral it does not work.

Hi, yes, since gt5 they havnt changed this :D
Edit: While wheelspinning you can shift into neutral, and press clutch, wheels continuous to spin, clutch dont work ^^ Very funny:)
Maybe GT7 will have a proper wheel support.

I got a penalty for overtaking someone on Dragon Trail. Last corner, no cutting, no contact, didn't run wide out of the last corner, took him going over the start finish line and 3 second penalty. Gobsmacked

And while I'm on this thread, why can't they sort the ghosts out? I've switched them off in settings, I have a button assigned to switch the ghosts off but they keep reappearing whenever they fancy it
 
Someone else is experiencing a downshifting bug ? Playing the daily race on Suzuka with the Toyota Supra, i pressed one time to downgrade 4 to 3, but it skip the 3rd gear..(4>2)
 
Unsure if this is the Right Place but....just took a look at my (GB) Profile, under Community on the Gran-Turismo.com website & it's all gone Japanese !! :confused::lol::rolleyes:

I using TH8A & T-GT ,got exactly same problem, but I’m not sure it’s a modify change or bug. I remember at GT5 & 6 some people complain can’t do flat / power shifting , and now I think those people would happy with this XD
 
Not sure if this had been brought up but there is a bug in the livery editor with the Aston Martin DB11 that will not allow you to put on license plates or anything eles to cover the the DB11 logo front and rear.

Not quite the same, but my mate is having trouble with the activity feed. Since about the same date its been really slow to update.

What happens is; he'll upload a livery (or photo or anything really), but it won't show up in the activity feed until about 10 hours later. When he tried to upload multiple things (to see if any would get through), some of them showed up in the wrong order. His stuff doesn't show up in the latest sections of Discover either. I can upload things and he'll see them in his activity feed instantly. But if I want to see anything new of his, I have to go to his profile.

He's tried deleting temp files, rebuilding database etc, but none of it has worked.
