no more airliner flying over the road X is this a bug? or a will of polyphony ???
Yeah I think with every new update that comes , a new bug arises unfortunatley , even the rendering glitch on the 911 turbo hood view haven't been fixed so I say that this bug remains for quite a while

Not sure if it’s a bug but isn’t your optimal time meant to update with all the best blue sector times? even if you hit a sector in red with a penalty?
Sometimes it only applies them if you restart the session or not at all
You change to a different car and it disregards your previous best times in that car, it only holds the current car best.

Such a shame. After the last update the game deleted my qualifying time at Spa.
My fastest time is still visible in my dash as my personal best.
Gran Turismo just chooses to ignore it.
Great.

That's not a bug. The leaderboards were wiped for everyone because some people were cheating. Additional barriers have been put in to stop the cheating so now we all have to set new qualifying times.

I know its annoying, but it's not a bug.

I was in a public lobby earlier, Spa 11:00 rain, the RSS tyres were faster than using full wets!?
Has anyone else experienced this?

Yep. In Red Bull Ring Wet. I don't really know why, but surely it isn't a bug. It's PD's fault. I think because Inters and Wets are just harder tyres than the others, so they're supposed to be more stable.

Has this been there right from the beginning of wet weather in GTS? Ive never noticed it before but then I think the lobbies I’ve created and raced in have had the choice restricted to W & IM’s.

Yes from the first release of rain it was like this.

I can't do any race in lobbies because of the pit and grid bug! It s a shame that it still hasn't been fixed!

I would appriciate if the developers were about to solve theese things instead of putting usless Mazdas and other similar track monsters into a racing game!!

The good ol’ Alfa Romeo reliability!

Where can I service it? Gauges are already broken.

Hi!

Yesterday at the last race of the day on Nations Cup at the end of the race the game crashed and I lost my win. It registered my qualification, but my race performance is lost. Also, I was a C level driver and now I'm back to a D level driver. How can I report this to game support?

Thanks in advance.

I have a question but I have been hoping for several updates now to race the Nostalgic '1979 races but I see the car I want to use
the Lamborghini Miura is excluded from entry despite it being present in the CPU list.

Any particular reason for this or oversight by PD and I have to hope they notice and fix it one day?

I'm pretty sure racing soft tyres being better on wet tracks than wet tyres has been a thing since Gran Turismo 5

If your game crashes you will be able to report the crash on your console when it happens.

As for losing DR and FIA points, that's because you exited the race when your game crashed. A disconnect automatically places you last - losing DR to the other drivers - while in FIA only your last race in each round counts towards your score, and as you disconnected you scored zero.

Thanks for the explanation. But the thing is. It was not my fault. It was an error of the game. Shouldn't my race be nullified?

No.

There is no practical way to tell the difference between someone whose game has crashed and someone who has pulled the RJ45 connector out of the back of the console because they were losing. I'm not aware of any game that treats a no-fault disconnection the same as a deliberate one.

What you said isn't true. I'm a computer system architect and the developers include an error exception that syncs with the servers when you open the game after the crash, the game can send the information about the error and then nullify a race that a player lost because of an error. If you pull the RH45 connector you don't have an error on the game.

I won the race, so why would I disconnect intentionally?

I don't have any ambition on the game. I'm just enjoying the online gaming, but this is something that the game developer should think about.

That may be the case in the wider world of software, but I'm not aware of a single (console) game that treats accidental and deliberate disconnection any differently.

You could theoreticaly trigger a crash (Lag switches / external devices etc) and quit races if you don't like the result.
There is even an ability to overflow system memory with PS4 browser I belive (due to html5 flaws etc).

You can catch exeptions etc but there is no way in determening the source of an error.

Tipically in gamedev (ranked matches) Disconnect = forfeit

Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
To me it sounds like a save file bug. can you play in arcade mode?

Got a used copy of gt sport from GameStop. Deleted game progress opened with new disc. All works fine. Didn’t have to do update - kept the saved settings portion. Just lost game progress and am doing driving tests again. When I tried downloading progress from the usb I had saved - all my license progress showed up but none of the award cars, so I just deleted progress and started fresh with new disc. Glad I didn’t have to sit through the long 1.5 update again. It seems to me like the update is fine, console is fine, and ‘PlayStation hits’ disc version of gt sport was the problem.

Today earlier when I turned on my video game and start the game the unforeseeable circumstances knowing as a bug, started bother me . I did all good in a championship but suddenly I have been disconnected from the server. That is terrible. I was about to start the race at 3rd place...what I can do? All time and money that I have invest... It's drive me crazy.

I'm in Toronto-Ontario day and hour are in the video

I created a drag racing lobby this morning.

I switched to my R33 GT-R and all is normal.

The engine sound cuts out, I can hear all other sounds too. Then it changes to a V8, and I confirmed that everyone could hear the changed engine sound. Next it changes to a V10, then a V12 from the Lamborghini Aventador.

Does this a few more times until I left the lobby.

Also I can confirm that I left the race and rejoined, and the engine sound was still glitched.

I noticed that the other players were getting disconnected at the same time you did. This is a server problem. The exact thing has been happening to me the last month. Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done about it since it's on PD's side.

However, it could also be your console. Mine has been getting real hot, so just this week I took measures to keep it cool. I did not get disconnected this week.

Maddening isn't it
