Hey. I saw you in a gameplay on the youtube in the room of a z28... guy.

Actually did quite a few races in his lobby that night. That one was my worst finish lol. I watch his streams and didn’t know he had put the replay on one of them until a couple of days later. His rooms fill up fast.
I’ve raced against wardez and 5zigen in GT6 league races. Them two is fast and fun to race against also.

I will open a Geezers and Quick Match Exiles room tomorrow (Sunday) at 8:30 AM U.S. ET. Your pick of Gr.1 car on racing soft tires.

Edit: use one of the prototypes, including the LM55. BoP will be used. Host PSN nordschleife1951
Sorry I had to leave to do house related stuff. The two races I was able to join, were damage on races. I thought the racing was better over all. Yes there was contact, but not like the no damage racing. It was much more realistic. I suppose when we race only 7 - 10 laps more chances have to be taken, unlike a real race when you have to wait for an opportunity, or perhaps there is only one or two realistic passing zones. We'll still have Geezer stuff happening, but I like the damage on.

I agree. Thought it kept things a bit more sane. Probably will keep the damage on “Light” in my rooms in the future, and will do a few races on heavy damage to test it also.

I like it also, I'll use it on Wednesday races !

Let's take for a ride the TOYOTA 86 GR.4 - RS tires - No Tuning - BoP ON - Damage = light - We will start at Lago Maggiori - West II
Note: Due to the stupid glitch that allow new tires while on the track, the tires wear will be set to zero until this glitch is fixed.

I’ll be there 👍

Saturday race will be for Group 3 cars your choice, but you can use the car only once. Race soft tires with damage on light. Tracks will be chosen from Monza with chicane, Yamagiwa, Big Willow, Panorama. We will do a race with damage on heavy. Cars can be repaired by making a pit stop. We'll do a practice crash/damage for those who want to see how the repair process is done. Room opens at 8:30 and we'll start the first race at 9:05. Please arrive early if you think you might have trouble connecting so we can sort that out.
As always our Saturday session is for folks 60 or over. Younger pilots can join us on any of our other race days as posted at the beginning of this forum.

I wasn't implying anything of the sort. My bad if you thought so. :indiff: Luiz lost a bit of traction, turned into you & a little bump resulted in his losing it. I was trying to show how competitive we elders are & the consequences, especially with Pepper right behind you 2, lurking. ;)

Wednesday nights races were close & hard fought & a lot of fun. Thanks for joining & hope you continue to join our merry band. 👍👍:cheers:

@papa, those pics on PS seem like I was dirty. I thought I got a bit of a nudge in that last lap to push up into him.:cheers:

Things happen in real life let alone in this virtual world we race in. We all have different braking points, lines, internet connections, skills, temperaments, controllers, track knowledge, etc etc. Some people are probably also more competitive in nature than others. I may fall into that category

I have been racing here for only three weeks and am confident that no one intentionally tries to take you out. There is always going to be bumping and barging etc, and to be honest its all part of the fun, because you know it is not malicious. Close racing is the best because it is exciting. I try hard not to tag anyone, but inevitably I will, we all will.

Unless someone is being a complete dick, we must all allow mistakes and accept a knock or three. Its all part of this wonderful world of Geezer racing. Any videos or pictures should not try to allot blame or to be seen that way.

This is a good fun racing community and we should all keep it that way

I love it :gtpflag:

It looks like you all have a blast racing, and BSing I would imagine. I've only had GTS for a couple of weeks so I am still a little lost, but I'd like to join your group for a few races and hopefully get some good advice on how to "up my game". Who should I FR to get in on the racing? My PSN is Postal125 if that helps.

Welcome to the Geezer Club, I think you will have a lot of fun with us, most (almost all) of us use headsets and enjoy the good natured banter before, during and after the races. Next race is Noon Tue.
