I asked about the chat to say my new needle for the record player is due in, and I have been anxiously awaiting its arrival. That was too much to type with the DS4... Then it came. Bailed.

Internet has given it high praise. But it's only $35. My others are 600 and 500. Even with just a couple hours on, it's quite a musical thing. Long live vinyl!

Hi Cory, as usual I did not understand much of what you write and I would like some more details.
It is a long time since I stopped listening to my vinyl records because the pin of my turntable was broken. I have a very old Technics SL-D21 and maybe you can suggest me something similar to the one you bought. Thanks

Yes, that is my playseat set up in the background
Looks great! Hope you have it dialed in for this weekend's racing! On a side note,, you likely won't be surprised I noticed something I'm betting few have noticed. (clue ~ has to be with military pride). See if anyone else catches it,, 💡
To my friends . My old mother past yesterday and I'm not in racing mood this weekend. And next week I wil have
operation in my ear-lobe and how much recovery will need time. And I can't use head-set and at-least half of fun
is to in chat room.
:grumpy: :banghead:But I'll be back!
We're sorry to learn about your Dear Mother our friend. Saying "Condolences to you and your family" always seems so impersonal a thing to say to me but cannot think of anything else. We who have been through losing our parents, a Wife, a brother and or sister, another very close family member or friend feel your suffering and wish you peace within your soul as you reflect on a lifetime knowing that your Mother gave you life, learning and all she could give. You've passed many of lifes lessons to your children and will continue sharing your memories with your grand children. Remember this, as we were being raised we have little snippits in our minds, little snippits in time that for the most part do not contain negative, only positive. Share them,, doing so helps relieve the pain and helps take away the memories of her last days. My Dear Grand mother once shared with me in her later years, how much she enjoyed "playing those little movies" she had in her mind of a time when my brother and 2 sisters were being watched over by her. Now I have those little movies as well. You have them, cherish and share them. God Bless and Keep you Marku,, Best of luck with recovery from the surgery. We'll see you when you are able.

Saturday Geezer Races
8:30 AM ET (first race 9:06)
Cars:
GrX - Red Bull Junior
Gr2 - Petronas Tom's SC430 '08
GrB - Audi Sport Quattro Pikes Peak
N200 - Lancia Stratos 1973 - Open tune (PS1)

Cars will be set by its original power and weight (individually)
After each race, 4th place decides the combo for next race (car and track) if the racer is in chat, if not I'll move to the next on line.

Tires:
Gr.X -> RS
Gr.2, GrB -> RH
N200 -> SS

Race will be set by time (10 to 15 min depending on the length of the track)
Grid (Based on last race results, first is first)
Boost = weak
No fuel and tire consumption.
First Combo - Blue Moon Bay - Infield A II + N200

Final race @ Blue Moon (people in lobby decides what to do)

See ya there!

PS1 - For N200 will be permitted tuning. There are a bunch of tuning in youtube I'll be using Praiano's tune, but, you are free to run it stock (no whining allowed :lol:)
PS2 - There will be no time for tuning between races, i suggest to do it before race day (like today) we will try to keep time between races to a minimum.
PS3 - If we have 8 or more in the lobby by 8:50 we will start a Early Bird race to set the grid for the first race
PS4 - Lobby is friends only, if you are a Geezer and would like to participate, send a FR to PSN: acenbrone.

Looking forward to tomorrow. Only spent less than an hour on GTS in the last week and a bit. And only once or twice on Saturdays lately since the first of March. Having to deal with stuff. Don’t miss the wheel time, But I really miss you Geezers!

Dear Marku,
some people say you get used to the pain. Maybe it's true. Certainly you learn to live with him.
But It is enough sadness that shines through the words of your announcement, to revive those terrible moments, preserved in the heart of many of us.

I take up your pain remembering those last moments with my mother, her hands in mine, the last caresses, the tears from my eyes.

A sincere hug and greetings for your surgery
Paolo

Kitchen update. A bit of paint now on the walls
Steve - Very nice work - well done! I have a question, what is the thingy on the counter with the 3 lids? While you're at it, what is the other thingy in the corner that is glass and appears to be three things stacked. Are these new inventions that haven't made their way across the ocean yet?

The one in the corner is a steamer, the other one is a slow cooker. The steamer you can cook veg, rice, fish etc. The slow cooker you can cook 3 different dishes at the same time. A curry night works well :) . Debs likes her cooking gadgets.
