GT Sport Replays?

Just curious as to why the replays are not full screen, anyone have a clue?

I would assume it is a way to save on processing. Be nice to have full screen with just the video and nothing else.

Thy won't be able to claim 4k video replays with huge borders top and bottom.

Might be saving resources, as others have pointed out. Could also be for cinematic feel, although I don't really see the point as this is not a movies .

What bugs me the most with GTS's replays is that the Sport Mode race replays always have those annoying flags and names hovering over each car, and it's not possible to remove them. Kinda kills the immersion when watching your race afterwards

Replay on lobby is in fullscreen.
I think it's for a cinematic look, but i don't know if it use the same camera angle on lobby.

Anyone know how to enable the full details (revs, brake, acc) in replays? I just get a black bar at the bottom and Super GT's videos always show the full details.

He asked for the detaits of the race/time trial, like his speedometer and the breaks and throttle. The circle only displays the Replay settings, which we don't care.

I am also curious about this as I want to capture my replays and post them on youtube but with these annoying Replay bars (black bars) it just doesn't look better. Why the crap did the devs DO THIS?

When looking at video control bar look to right of bar, there will be an option to show race info just to the left of the exit icon. Then toggle between race info and video options with the circle button.

I believe you can remove this by pressing F1 on a keyborad connected to your PS4. Or at least some button on a USB keyboard.

Start replay - enter photo mode - back out to replay - all flags and driver names disappear 👍

My biggest gripe about FIA replays is having to sit through the ****ing grid lineup again. It's like a minute and a half of wasted time before you even get to the start of the race.

'Cinematic' is 24fps.

Plug in a USB keyboard to your PS4, and press F1. There are other neat things you can do on replays with the keyboard that are noted here.
