Ok I have the decals I wanted cut out and used an online convertor, they look fine when i upload them to the decal uploader but when i get them in game they are blank? any ideas?

Sometimes you have to convert an image that wasn't an svg originally, twice.

Run your decals through this:

https://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-svg

Reuploud them to your game and they should be visible. Be advised, it can add an extra 1.0 kb to the file if you just managed to squeeze them to 15 kb.

Let me know how it goes.

Why not separate the Frenchy's large lettering and the yellow ribbon with text as separate uploads? I ain't the most skilled creator but got that idea from an intricate Rothman's Racing multipart decal upload I found in the game.
Yep, that was my next plan. 👍

Check that. It’s proving tricky to get under 29kb at the moment. Sorry. :banghead:
@PoloBandit: Sorry, I just can't get the file small enough to upload in the game. I'm still a total novice at creating my own svg files. I think this may have to be one for the more experienced heads on the forum. :guilty:

I know the feeling. Had to pass up on plenty of nice decals because they just wouldn't fit. If 30kb was the limit then practically every race decal I have ever wanted would fit. What could an extra measly 15kb's to a file do PD? I ain't complaining. Still alot of depth to the livery editor and anything is better the 1 use only paint chips including special ones you had to pay for.

Got this one done for you, going to try and sort the rest out.

@Darthmore you can change the colour to your liking and is good quality resolution. Search keyword #victoria.

Ok wise and all-knowing experienced livery forum bods... As you can see from this screenshot, the logos appear fine. However, on uploading the VAM logo, the Motorsport and name text is missing. I replaced the original image with new typeface-matched yext in Inkscape, so I can only assume that this text is not compatible with GTS? Could someone confirm that's the case for me.

Did you convert the text to curves? GTS doesn't support text.

It doesn't work in an edit.

I've split them up too just in case it goes off on a tangent over the rear haunches.

If you're going to do this with it, that is.

After trying to match some angles on a different livery I think it needs to be split between the D and the R of driver, I'll happily do the work if you care to share the file, its tracing I have issues with...Amongst other things anyway!

Ok..thanks. I've now done that and GTS is telling me that the file " Sesterheim racing" just those 2 words is to big to upload. I have managed to get the 2 separate words into game but want to combine them.

Text can make big files for some reason, you may want to take a look here for tips on SVG creation.

Saved you some work. Just pass some of them through SVGOMG and they should be good to go. The font used made huuuge sizes so you might want to stick with a basic font, not a cartoony font.

EDIT: Whoops. Saw I forgot one cup. too lazy to go back and edit.. It's in there it's just below some other stuff I guess.

Thanks!

EDIT: Actually, I can't seem to get the Boston Tee Party logo down below 15kb, even if I minimize the precision. I wonder if making the similar colors more similar to each other - maybe even the same hue - will do it?

Anyone have the time to help me with these two vinyls please. Will be soooo much appreciated.

If possible, can the black wording in the "go getta" logo be done in white please as it will be placed on a black background ? If not, I'll have to work around it.

Big thanks.

Colors doesn’t have much to do with it, and I’ll admit I auto traced that one. I don’t want to try doing it manually to be honest, it would take a good while :P

I'll try and rustle something up for you. Will edit here when done.

Edit: Try these. Gtsport svg's don't support blurring so I just put a white outline on one pair so it shows up on dark paint.

I had an idea - why not do something similar to what you did with the text in the speech bubbles, and split the logo up into two parts, then I'll re-assemble them as separate decals in the livery editor?
