GT6's version is too desaturated.

Sports' Brands Hatch, especially notice color reproduction when trees and grass are lit, is closer to daytime lighting in real life.

Here are my first videos from today's event. Much much more to come!

Firstly, a very special intro to today's events from Kaz himself...

How many cars in total did the demoversion have and did the Safety Car(s) make any new appearances?

There were 23 cars in total available to drive. All 23 cars are shown in the vid below. For the video, I went quickly from left to right, then I took a more leisurely scroll from right to left. You can take a good long look in the link below...: :sly:

PS Re the posts above, Brands Hatch looked bloody gorgeous today. I know bugger all about all the magical technical stuff that makes it happen, but everyone I spoke to thought the same.

Also @sirjim73, thanks for the car list vid. The music playing in the background actually matched what was going on in game.

But really, you should be thanking @Jordan - he did all the driving and recording!

Speaking of, there's a whole lot more to come. It'll be a few hours, but I'd say it's worth the wait.

I'd like to see the Hyundai VGT gameplay. It seems it's very quiet though.

I'm pretty sure the introduction video released last year explained it was powered by a hydrogen fuel cell... so in this case, Polyphony can't get the sound wrong if it barely makes one at all! 💡

EDIT - Here is replay footage of my FIRST EVER race in GT SPORT in the Nissan GTR 2017 at Willow Springs...

And the official trailer with music which should be suited to fans.

Yeah, that was a fluke, no lie . The music was playing in the venue (as you can tell it was pretty loud).

I was thinking the same. If that was the menu music (as an instrumental of course), I would never change it.

I wish this was menu music, sadly it was the music playing in the venue (really loudly). The fact it was playing when i recorded this vid was, good fortune however as it's a fab song.

You've got some great footage there!

Did anyone manage to film the oval race. I had it so easy out in front :D

Sorry, I don't have this race, I was busy hanging on to a car seat in the car park when your race was run.
Seems likely that someone has it though, and nice work on your win 👍. I came last in my race (well 9th but only 9 finished), but I knew that would be the case anyway as my skillset is very much Johnny Average. It was an awesome experience to ride a race in the car seat though, sooooo different to using a wheel at home even.

im hoping i will see the Seattle reworked. Seems it was used in some sort of pre-qualify session before the stream.

Yes, I saw that in the early part of the stream. But I don't think I saw it referenced anywhere else. I don't think we were meant to know about that yet. My guess is that they will unveil the Seattle track later on, a bit like they did with GT6 where they unveiled the new tracks one at a time. Since it was only used in the pre-qualification, I don't think there will be footage shown as probably the only people that saw it or raced in it aren't allowed to show it?

I posted these videos in another thread, but they seem more appropriate here:

And the image quality is pretty shocking here... But I guess it's worth posting:

Pretty much any vid is worth posting, I think, if it shows something new, as yours does. Here is a cockpit view vid I took offscreen towards the end of yesterday, of the GTR (99% sure thats what it is) at Tokyo Expressway circuit. Not me driving...

Only just seen this. Damn last night was awesome, especially that race! :D
There was a lot of great racing! I regret not recording the Willow Springs Race when the two Renault drivers finished side-by-side after a lengthy battle. It's these kind of races which makes me feel excited about the future of e-sports and GT Sport... I think the future looks very bright.

Aw the sat nav doesn't show the car info anymore

I must say that the last videos with the guy (from gtplanet?) doing the commentary are really great!
Great battles, better netcode, and I love his enthousiasm.
I hope Poly will give all the necessary tools to provide a good bradcasting.
We don't need to have the perfect simulation to enjoy watching an online race.
