Serious question, what am I exactly looking at? Is the car facing forward/backward?

Really intrigued and curious on this one.

By the size of the fenders I'd say we're looking from the back.

Edit: Well, looking closer, the door handle seems to be farther away than the side mirror, so... we're looking from the front. :D

Edit2: Unless what looks like a door handle is actually a side vent close to the front left wheel. :D

Maybe it sounds stupid, but...
Mazda MX-5?
It's also reminds me of MX5 actually
But it's too wide, isn't it?

It seems to be a wide road car. I'm honestly curious what it is because I don't exactly recognize it from the cars we've seen so far.

from 28 to 39 variations is a big difference. Odd disparity.
Has a track list/variations ever been officially confirmed?

With the extra year of development more cars are coming, so why not an extra track(s)? Not saying they will, but Interlagos is being kept under wraps, there could be others. It's marketing 101 to leave some big hitting news until closer to release.....and we're 3 weeks out.

Thinking about it, we haven't seen a lot of the circuits in that list. I'm going to do a mini breakdown:

Dragon Trail: no idea what the second variation might be. A reverse section is the only realistic option.

We haven't seen any variation of the DiRT tracks before.

Blue Moon II might be a reverse (probably is).

Kyoto Park we've only seen in glimpses.

Lake Maggiore: only in screenshots and glimpses. We haven't really seen most of it yet.

Interlagos: We've seen one angle of it

We also haven't seen any night version of tracks aside from Tokyo and the Nurburgring. Not bad.

Oh and Alsace as well.
