I remember when I started a thread about the VGTs saying they’ll carry over. I meantioned the Mini in particular. Never in my life have I seen such a negative thread, all the hate! Haha. Who’s right now?

To be fair, the ad placements in GTPlanet are very, very tidy and eye-catching at the same time unlike 'most' other forums where AdBlock feels very tempting to use...

Are those from a PS4 Pro with HDR enabled? They look like... or your ev and brightness settings are a bit unbalanced? Not sure. But the detail is all there that's for sure.


Edit: Made a test with you shots to see how they could look like with a quick tweak.

Here's one of my captures from Broad Bean, it looks kinda like a mini High Speed Ring. I don't think it looks too bad, but I wish it were something else with the small amount of locations we're starting with.

This is getting real close to hyper-realism. Which is what I want!

Kaz stated overcast conditons are easier to recreate then the full clear/bright daylight and it shows. Both in Brands Hatch and Willow the cloudy condtions look amazing, the light is spot on. Dusk and sunrise is also very good. But I do see that full daylight does have some room for improvement, not that it looks bad at all, it's just not quite as real yet.

The only things I think could use some work is the track surrounding elements shadows and even better trees, could just be they can't add too much because of the hardware limitations. With the trees I definitely say its a hardware limit. (Oh and some extra dirt and grit overall would help too.)

But man, the visuals! This why I've always loved GT.

There were GT Sport ads on yesterday's Bathurst broadcast. It wasn't the same but it's good to see that the game is getting some ads on TV now.
