GT Sport Update 1.22 Discussion Thread

I guess a certain person in the thread is going to be doing a lot of reporting after the update is delivered then as I know exactly what we are going to be seeing in the first few hours afterwards...

So we know that we're getting a new French track that I'll provisionally call Grand Deep Mountain. We are also getting more options to customize our drivers.

Add to this a few more GT League events and Le Mans circuit experience, and we've got ourselves a nice little update. Even better if we get some cars (c'mon Kaz, I want a Nissan Cube to decorate with Anime girls).

Right now, this is nice because my suit colors match my car. But wouldn't it look so much cooler if my race suit had all my sponsors?

PD should increase the number of liveries we can add to our collection 1000 is a low number for the amazing liveries there are out there.

I don't have anything against anime . The fact well over 75% of the anime decals are half naked chicks with glossy boobs or lolies ticks me off. Underage chicks in suggestive clothing is disturbing , cartoons or not , if you enjoy that you are suspect to me and I won't hesitate reporting the image and your PSN if you are uploading loli stuff.
If it was about art we would see more variety , but it's clearly not . They should keep their creepy fetish to themselves .

I'm proud to have SUCCESFULY reported 150+ anime chick images and counting . I always get happy when I get a confirmation of removal from Sony a few days later .

In all honesty most people like me will do it once and then won't bother with it again.
Once I can recreate my real Arai helmet and match my suit to my main Gr.4 Gr.3 car livery. I don't see me ever using it again.

Exactly.
If it would automatically switch your gear to each car then it might give me more insensitive to use it. But I have no desire to manually switch gear to match my cars every single time. So therefore it will see very little use.

I don’t really care about the anime stuff people put on their cars, what does bug me is the flooding of the decals pages that usually happens with these things... they usually upload in multiple parts, only the hair, only the clothes, only the arms etc... it’s probably a way to keep file sizes down and allow for customization, but it floods the decal pages, ‘drowning’ out the other decals...

Anyway... this thread is going waaaaaaay off course, let’s focus on the upcoming update and discuss the anime things in a separate thread.

I'm barely in Dr A... I am most definitely not an alien.

This car has one of the better BoPs for Gr4 in my opinion.

True, but would’ve imagined they kept the length of the track. It wouldn’t be right to race the same track but blown up in size. The hairpins wouldn’t be hairpins no more, but high speed U-turns

But, I would happily take it. I’m excited too.

You have perfectly round hands holding some kind of alien weapon. You have a square body, square legs, wearing a hat trying to blend in with us humans, square feet, and even a square shirt! I mean, where can you buy a square shirt on this planet??? And the most giveaway, you have no pants on. We humans wear pants on planet earth.

I had no idea what loli was so googled it. That should put people on a list.

Anyway... On topic, Im hyped for the update and have fingers crossed for another great PD fantasy track. You cant deny they are good at it.

The fact that the first new fantasy track is not a classic GT track is curious. Maybe they want to keep as much GT elements as possible for GT7. Still great to see that Poly supports actively its game.

I wanna see more JDM classics, such as the Hakosuka GT-R, RX3, 240Z, Hachi Roku, etc etc. I also want to see more Japanese tracks.

PD is a Japanese developer after all, and I think they should embrace Japanese car culture more, as thats what made Gran Turismo unique in the first place.

A fine line is crossed when you start uploading underage chicks in skimpy clothes, cartoon or not. that's why I stopped watching anime around 2010, it started becoming a weird hypersexualized pedo fest. When 75% of the anime stuff uploaded to GTS is underage chicks in skimpy clothes, then yes il report you. MOE has become increasingly popular in modern anime ( making adult women look like little girls with huge assets) . Why does everything anime have to be sexual? I can't even find a Kat/ Raven pic online but I can find thousands of stupid loli pics in GTS.

Since when did this become a thread about bashing anime? If people want to upload the decals, and it's not violating the code of conduct, what is the problem? Hate on anime as much as you like but that's not going to stop anyone. Now can we please get back on topic?

racing gear, Sonic, Tails and Amy from Sonic the Hedgehog.

As long the anime or manga character used for the livery isn't too vulgar I think it is okay. But, if it showing full nudity and pornographic images then it has to be reported obviously. Frankly, to avoid this kind of thing is inevitable in my opinion when there is features like livery editor appeared in any racing games which is something relative to say the least and it can't be stopped. People will make more and more of them because it is simply to expressed what they like.

Okay, time to back on topic. Wonder when the next teaser is posted? Could be wrong but for the first time ever I saw GT account has been very active for a week! That is quite an achievement I think

(Or perhaps because there is Goodwood festival running currently but anyway... )
