Would GT Sport VR be able to have more than 2 cars driving round on the circuits in VR mode? In other words, is GT Sport VR being held back in this respect by the PS4?
That would mean that the PS4 Pro can never show its full potential in this game. Only if there would be a special PS4 Pro mode for VR would this be possible.
If not the PS4 Pro is only a very expensive paper-weight.

I’d argue that the VR headset is a very expensive paperweight this generation.

The hardware power is just not there to execute triple A games in VR with the feature set people expect from non VR.

Someone in another thread had an idea of using two PS4, one for processing each eye of the PSVR headset. I think the break out box puts the existing processed PS4/Pro image to the headset and a version of it to the TV and shareplay recording. So I don't see why combining the power of two PS4 couldn't be done and combined in a new break out box.

If Sony and game developers would use this method, we could have all the content of current games in VR now.

Buying 3 PS3 and 3 copies of a game wasn't ridiculed for producing triple screen output, so combining two PS4 seems a logical idea, especially when a PS4 slim can be picked up for £200.

I don't know how long it will take for the PS5 to come out, but when it does, it will probably only have the power of a current mid to high spec PC.

Kaz has suggested that the might be increasing vr side of the game to the rest of the arcade modes.

If they would use ps2 car models the base ps4 could do it as well. Not that you can really see the difference anyway since psvr is comparable to 270p resolution on a tv, lower than the ps2 produced. You can't tell me PS4 can't handle GT4 in VR. However replacing that one billion polygon AI car with 15 ps2 models should do the trick.
