Well, that's where the 3000GT shines, actually. Power and handling is very good, since it's also a 4WD as well. The Eclipse has a much sportier appearance though but its biggest weakness? That lies in its drivetrain layout, which is a rather paltry front-wheel drive, something unusual for a sporty coupe like this. And despite having a larger engine, it's also down in power for like a little more than 10HP, too. However, the 3000GT only makes slightly more because it's turbocharged. The Eclipse could have been offered with the same package as well but for some unknown reasons, Mitsubishi didn't make it like that, which is a sad thing.

I think the 3000 gt with twinturbo makes 320 bhp. Can’t remember what the eclipse makes. But eclipse gsx has 4wd if i am not mistaken

As much as I’m happy (I guess) for Spa, it’s another update where the Americas region STILL doesn’t get any love. The real life courses here can’t possibly be charging anywhere near as much as Spa, so what’s the big hesitation for? All we have is Interlagos when it comes to grids, and Willow Springs, which doesn’t even have grid slots. It’s kind of a big middle finger to us, once again.

The hype train has just crashed and the fan has sprayed the goods....

Could also be Midfield/Trial Mountain/Apricot Hill/High Speed Ring

You forgot to mention Grinderwalt...

Still hoping for NYC, Laguna, COTA, Road Merica

Maybe these four will accompany Spa :dopey:

Front end is a 1970 Plymouth GTX...

... and the GTX has technically been in GT before, in GT2, as a 1967 model.

That actually is closer to a 71-72 GTX. Just a FYI, and I'm not saying the new car is a GTX, just the car you were referencing.

I loved the 67 GTX in GT2.

People take things very personal, how can a circuit that people are asking vehemently be a middle finger? I can't believe they are so negative for God

America is clearly the greatest country in the world and therefore everything should be mostly about them!

I'm being facetious of course, there's a lot of American cars and tracks that would be welcome additions to the game, but they are not being added for whatever reason and that's really all there is to it. Playing the 'offended' card won't really change that.

I would have said that the car in the center by shape is very close to an old Ferrari Dino 308 GT4, but here it has retractable headlights.

Did you even read what I posted? I showed a point where there are only two real life Americas region tracks, both of which were in game at launch, versus at least 4 from Asia, and 8 (including Spa) from Europe. It has nothing to do with being “offended” and everything to do with being irritated.

Now piss your pants
Not the best cars selection. But they are really iconic inclusions.
Spa, finally, but a little bit overrated, not a mind blowing.
Rain (I think only in Red Bull Ring)
One of the best updates of GT Sport. Obviously, if all of this comes next week

If they only add some GT1 cars made my dreams would be come true. :(

I fear rain will only be on the Red Bull Ring... We've only had evidence of rainy conditions on this circuit, and I believe this is not innocent. :nervous:
I'm not saying that PD is going with the minimum required effort to deliver on the promises they made at the launch of the game, but that's also something I would expect.

Yeah by now I would've loved Indy and CoTA and Laguna Seca and Daytona but I'm sure they will come at some point.
Right now I'm just glad we finally get Spa...

Why would you be irritated? The big miss in the game at the moment from America is Laguna Seca.
Other than that, you can pretend Dragon Trail, Sainte Croix or Sardegna take place in the USA if it makes you feel better... it honestly feels this way to me when I play Ste Croix, as it doesn't look anything like an actual region of France.

I posted these at the start of the thread and through the 16th:
Last update cars from locations

3 - Japan
1- UK
1- Germany

IF.... IF...

We get 5 cars again, maybe

2 - Japan
1- Italy
1 - France
1 - USA

The 28th have N300 and Gr.3 races. Could be more classic Japanese cars in that N300 class(3000GT and maybe the Starion in previous news).

Seriously...:eek::drool: C'mon, PD.

Don't know if we'd get another USA a car so soon. I called the C8, earlier, but after those Brand/update posts, I'm really boggled by what would come next. Sure, I could just wait like everyone else. Thing is, the standard car list is so vast.

The Dodge Charger and Plymouth Road Runner come to mind. I was thinking how the Camaro completed the early "pony car" era. No real muscle cars, other than the Hellcat. Do PD lead with a Superbird? Maybe an old school GTX like we had in GT2? Why not the Chevelle or Tempest or a more modern car like the GNX? My brain is fried. Long drive for me and the wife tomorrow. Time for bed...
If it's that GTX, you're welcome. ;)
