GT veteran changing to Assetto Corsa

I just transitioned from GT7 to AC, as I got fed up with the scalper prices of PS compatible wheels. Racing is good and as I have always said especially the GT cars are closer to each other in GT7 and AC, than any sim-purist dares to admit. Feels just like same physics, just a change of tire compound and more detailed FFB. That said, the amount of players and lobbies seems very low in AC. Only few lobbies with even 10+ players and like 80% are either Nurb trackdays or traffic lobbies. Is the actual track racing this non-existent in AC, or should i look for lobbies somewhere outside the CM? Are all track racers really in ACC and iRenting?

Yeah if you wanted GT3 racing you really should go with ACC or iRenting instead, it's around in AC but not as popular. AC is much more popular with the freeroam/online cruising communities like Shutoko Expressway and LA Canyons. Those are with street cars ofc.
