These tracks (Grand Valley, Suzuka...) are unrealistic from the real ones...
It isn't a offense, it's my opinion.
Yes, but the problem is that Suzuka would be acting as a Akosombo Track...Suzuka is real.....
Yes, but the problem is that Suzuka would be acting as a Akosombo Track...
I know, I know.Had I restarted AGAIN, everyone would've complained about it.. Bottom line, EVERYONE WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT SOMETHING... I MYSELF even complained about how 🤬 everything was today.
I know, I know.
You did not do anything majorly wrong though, (apart from crashing the safetycar)
In my opinion, rain is fine, its just that most of the field cant handle it.
I'm sorry if it sounded like I was bitching about it.
As I said, if I can, I will stay in the series, as I am sure you'll only get better and better at running this
I will be on the series as long as it exist, but we need to start to have briefing to make the starts or to do the full course yellow, I think as long as we cannot verify the speed on safety car we should do the same as indy, safety car everyone loose the time they got and do another start. with Lucky dog and everything, because it will not work to do a FCY
why? you just need to go to the first place and be behind it
The wet track would still cause people to complain, although, if you ignore it you'd be fine.Yeah crashing the saftey car was kind of a moment as I had to use an Audi TT.
And I'm not mad at anyone really, I'm severely upset with PD and the way their game is. I hope GT Sport is better than this. Because the bugs and lag that this game causes is ridiculous. Especially with CM tracks. It's just, when you spend months planning and testing for a series that you hope finally runs right, you get real frustrated when it falls apart and it's not even your doing.. Had we not had so much damn lag on those CM tracks, we would've been good.
The problem with that is that you can get really screwed over because of the short race length, together with the limited tyre options.I will be on the series as long as it exist, but we need to start to have briefing to make the starts or to do the full course yellow, I think as long as we cannot verify the speed on safety car we should do the same as indy, safety car everyone loose the time they got and do another start. with Lucky dog and everything, because it will not work to do a FCY
May I suggest we use Indianapolis Road Course as Baharain and Laguna Seca as Interlagos, they represent their counterparts much closer.Bahrain --> Tokyo

Indianapolis, as baharain is completely flat, has a variety of high speed corners, and tight chicanes, and a massive home straight. (tokyo does also fulfill these qualifications, but its a street circuit)
Laguna seca, as Interlagos has alot of undulating corners, big height differences and is a relatively short track.
I have no idea how Akosombo, Sunset Circuit, and Golden West Raceway would look, so I would'nt know what track best suits them..
I dont know...But don't United SportsCar Championship use street circuits sometimes?
I dont know...
But Baharain is not a street circuit.
and neither is Interlagos, hence why I want to change it. honestly, madrid is so far of Interlagos I'm not sure how you even came up with it...
Tokyoa as Baharain is alright, exept its a street circuit.
But Madrid as Interlagos? Nah, that does'nt seem right at all.
But don't United SportsCar Championship use street circuits sometimes?
I was already a part time.I think that you may have step down as a reserve driver....
I think I speak for a few people when I say that was a nightmare.
Edit: Can I find out why I was disqualified? The rules say nothing on this situation at all so there's no reason within the rules as to why I should have been disqualified.
For reference, I was using this which was the only provided documentation regarding rules and regulations.
QUITTING RACES - If driver wishes to not to finish a race for whatever reason, the driver is not allowed to leave the track. RAGE QUITTING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED HERE! If you choose not to race anymore, simply drive into the pit, press the pause button, and remain there until the race is over. You will still receive points for last place which is better than a rage quit penalty.
People who rage quit will get an automatic DQ from that race, the next race, and a 25 second final time penalty the returning race. (This does not includefamily/personal events or sudden plans. Those are automatically excused and you are free to go. Just be sure to tell me afterwards the next day or so.)
If you're going to give a penalty like that in a situation like yesterday, I'm going to leave.
By the way, i'm not saying you didn't give it out consistently.
I did not put the others to crash. I was also lagging and I was trying to control my car, so I wouldn't have a lag crash. So here's my 2c lol...
I'm not sure whether Lex intended to stay and watch over or not but I found the problems began there, being unsupervised. Can I say at the start everyone is so tightly bunched it's really not enjoyable to be worried I'm going to get damage before we even start, it's pace lap, we have over 2mins before the green flag... @Harsk100 each race now you have gone off warming your tyres and potentially put others at risk of crashing, just chill man, take it easy.
I'm not sure what happened at the start line there was chaos first lap, people being punted off here and there half way around the lap and then trying to hold damage, I'm surprised I made it through. (@Isho I made a slight bump to you going into the first tight hairpin, sorry).
All seems to finally settle still green and 10ish mins in there's a few getting damage after changing to dry tyres and making the call, poor @Manasseh257NSX then decides to leave the race and watch over calling FCY around 13mins in. I'm ordered to then pit for damage (which was light and I wasn't phased but was pitting anyway lol) the whole time @Harsk100 is still going flat out the whole time... and then overtakes me just after I've come out of the pits and obeying FCY speed limit. I'm sorry for my text chatter but I can't sit there and have someone still racing green while the majority are still doing FCY pace, (from the replay it seems there were a few).
So whatever, it goes green and then more chatter is happening to have a room restart... I didn't have an issue with the drying track, admittedly the hardest thing was not knowing where the dry line was, as it's a CM track with no rubbered line. The lag was minimal and bearable for me, if anything the text chat was putting me off, I probably could've kept racing in race though.
So new race is restarted (after some bickering, tension was high I get it lol), again certain people on other's wheels literally for a lot of the pace lap. Then the safety car crashed, which is obviously a lesson learnt as to have a 2nd lap behind, going green for that short time and then back to FCY really stuffed up that restart, and then we go green on the worst of all places. 6ish mins in we go FCY again, people not respecting space in this part, then back to green which was a nice restart. Then followed by another FCY period at 10 and a half minutes in, which FCY caution was blatantly broken here which we know of that certain and I won't go into more detail as to who or why it's BS, but people need to read and understand the rules and procedures, this is why it's not working.
Anyway, all gets sorted and we go green finally with 14mins to go and some good solid flat out racing till the chequered flag finally lol, which was a good ending, just really short . Certainly not the sort of way I want a race to go and then I win my class but it was good to have my first in the series! .
I'm not entirely sure if the CM track is at fault for all this round's hiccups, I was kinda looking forward to more but I guess it is safer to change up to GT6 tracks, even if it is at the cost of track calendar realism... It can still provide great racing! if the procedures can be ironed out and everyone obeying them, together. I'm easy with weather either way also . I hope we can move forward positively to Daytona because that will be a great race!
i mean you did deserve it though. I didnt understand the reason for leaving since you also caused some accidents. On the second lap you threw me and cage off by passing us on the straight and wavering around when braking. On the 4th lap you lost control abd went off track but went back on and hit me and caused both my rear wheels damage. I didnt quit when that happened, i sucked it up and went on for 2 laps. But when townha hit you, you immediately went off on him and gave up.If you're going to give a penalty like that in a situation like yesterday, I'm going to leave.

When I overtook Fred on the pits, Manasseh said: "Harsk.... We're on FCY". But Pubs was also supposed to keep the same speed with me.
Despite of these problems, I still had a good race, as I had fights with Pubs and Isho.
That's a shame that Fred did the Rage Quit, as he really deserved to win in my opinion.
But I was very worried about you, Fred. It's like the 3rd time that I see you angry about your performance.I didn't RQ?!! the hell are you talking about?? I just parked myself in the pits, if i really Ragequitted, I would've already left the room!
