GT1 spec cars

Since there are no GT1 championship cars(race versions) available in the game, i have decided to make my own, i did initially start with actual FIA regulations, but some cars like the DB9, was grossly overweight, and could not keep up. I have looked at the tuning guide, and it wasn't exactly what i was looking for. As weight and power as no restriction, i have struggled to find online studies of the car, so i can replicate for GT5, what i'm most concerened is the gearing for the cars, i want the Supercars in GT5 to simulate GT1 speeds, if at all possible. Anyone jave information on FIA GT1 cars?

It's probably not about the gear ratios, its more about the aero i guess.
