I have settled to have a schedual change as most of you may know. I have a few choices for everyone to choose from.

the schedual options
A1. Sunday - Tuesday - Qualify
Wednesday - Friday - Race

A2. Sunday - Tuesday - Qualify
Thurday - Saturday - Race

B1. Monday - Wednesday - Qualify
Thursday - Saturday - Race

B2. Monday - Wednesday - Qualify
Thursday - Sunday - Race

C. Tuesday - Thursday - Qualify
Friday - Sunday - Race

D1. Monday - Friday - Qualify
Saturday - Sunday - Race

D2. Monday - Thursay - Qualify
Friday - Sunday - Race

pick 2 from these options and post them in this thread. I'll take the majority of the total votes.

Thanks!
FuJi Khang

Well, looks like I'm in this season, so I'll be sure to take the 'ol EVO out for a spin tonight and get in the race for some points(so I don't fall too far behind...:embarrassed: )!

Oh yea, and I vote for B2 and D2...

Holla!

i vote for b1 or b2.

something about having no life on the weekends....i dunno...whatever. having the race and qualify during the week seems like the best for me.

i was also thinking having like a few days off from racing...like every third week or sumptin...justa thought.

Edit: new avatar in tribute to THE MAN(it was either that or the 550 rim closeup)

We need to clarify what is track and what is not, so that all drivers are on the same page. Typically the GTF stance is that if it is paved, it is track. However, this is your series Fuji, so it is up to you. I am speaking specifically of the curbs a) in Sector 3, and b) the last corner.... what is your call... IF it's paved it's track? OR Do not go inside the curbs...its up to you, but it makes one hell of a difference in lap time. One thing to think about though. If you choose to not go on the inside of the curbs, it is damn hard to enforce.

since it's part of the road, use it for your own advantage. i'll use it. Yes, i'm talking about the LAST TURN. You can use the inside of it. Also you can do that in the LEFTY before the starting of SECTOR 3. use all the road in Rome Night.

Thanks for asking!!! We must ask questions if there is questions that need to be answered. Thanks again for asking!

Good race guys - off to Rome Night, should see the re-emergence of the Subbies here.

Fuji - not sure if the points total up right..

I get

Seattle - 4pts (Q) +12 pts (R) + 3pts = 19
Midfield - 5pts + 14 pts + 3pts = 22

Total = 19 + 22 = 41

Correct me if I have misunderstood procedures..

Right then, I think you have forgotten to include this rounds qualifying points in the total season points.

Ah yes, Rome Night. Great....I've raced this track like twice....during the license test I hadda' pass to get access to it

I'm gonna get smoked like a salmon in this round!!!

What a great finish! Great racing everyone! Congrats to Brett Harrington for the victory, and to the others especially FuJi K because of mine and his close finish!

I'm just wondering why the other EVOs are sooo far back(nearly 30 seconds  ), and if you guys want my settings so that you can possibly get some better times, let me know guys...;)

Anyways, see you all @ Rome-Night and good luck to everyone!!

Ouch! Well, no disrespect intended no doubt. Again, not speaking for the other EVO drivers here, the only explanation I have is inexperience and lack of fine-detail skill.

Not sure how the others feel about sharing settings--since this is a 'for fun' series--but I'll take any advice anyone wants to give, here. Ultimately it's going to be up to Fuji, as it's his series.

Trailer01,

I meant no disrespect at all! :embarrassed:

I was just simply wondering why those other EVOs weren't up there with me since it's obviously possible, and I simply pondered as to why they were so far back. Indeed all On-Line Racing is intended for fun at every turn, and I'm not trying to overshadow that, but I thought that even through fun everyone would be as competitive as possible. I didn't mean to offend you or anyone else if that's how it seems, I guess I might have been a little too aggressive with the wording, and I am apoligetic to anyone who feels that my post was in any way wrong or disrespectful.

Anyways, if that's what you and others can do with the EVO i congradulate you on your performance and hope to see an even greater one @ Rome-Night!

See you on the track!

Holla!

I think you need to either put more thought in your posts, or tone down the rheoteric a bit. The way the posts read to me, shows a bit of disrepect to some members who have been around for quite some time, no really a great way to make friends or be involved in series, particularly when people have gone out of their way to ensure your involvement.

I apologize in advance, if somehow I have misunderstood your intent.

Fogelhund,

I was simply poking fun with MikeM about him not remembering about what day it is, but I meant no disrespect or anything of that nature to anyone. I didn't know it would be taken that way, so I am sorry for posting it, and I'll try to make my posts more clearer from now on about what I'm saying and implying...

Holla!

err...I'm Mike M, he's MikeMackinnon :/

And I can tell you, from the way you were talking earlier, it sounded like you were on the verge of flaming me and rob.

This is just for fun, so I'm not using every waking hour to improve my lap time, I just make a couple runs and that's it. Sure I'm not the best driver in the world, nobody here is, but that's still no reason to go and single out me and rob, and basically tell us we can't tune a car or drive well.

Just do like the others said and tone it down a bit, ok? Not a great first impression :odd:

The Lancer EVO VI GSR's are great runners! they are really even with the WRX STi Ver. VI Type RA and Type R's. In fact, all the cars are even with each other. I testes them when i bought them all! they're all within 5 secs of each other.

Some drivers differ from one another. Well........me driving the lowest HP car in the series kind'a seems like.......
"ha! you only have 367HP while i have over 400HP......"
but that thing is that these cars are set at a power(hp) to weight(ton) or between 310hp per ton to 320 hp per ton.

help encourage each other guys!!!!! i'll change the schedual tomorrow from the votes, then we will have a wounderful season!!!

skynyrd,

I'm quite sorry for the way I have been acting in this introduction, and I apologise for my inexcusible actions that have come to this point...

Who's all in favor of trying to start a clean slate with me? I don't want to make havoc or insult/disrespect anyone while I'm around, so I'll try to keep my opinions and comments more to myself and choose more wisely to the ones I do use.

See you on the track!

Holla!

Perhaps we shouldn't read so much into each others posts, i'm under the impression that metal-fantasy was just joking...personally i wasn't offended. the Lancer boys may be in the other shoe.

then again, perhaps we shouldn't post comments that MAY be taken wrong. knowingly posting something that is likely to be offensive will only cause ****, which is prolly what the writer intended; but then again, those writers don't last long on forums like this anyway.

off topic...i can't frikin wait for the next round. Can ya tell the F1 season started! 😈 :P i wish the Audi had 950HP @ 19,000 rpm while weighing 1100 lbs....talk about Mike = happy...lol

well the results are up!! Congrats to Sean for taking the lead after i extended the due date............... bad me......
Congrats to Brett also for a very close race!!!!!!! Gotta give much credit to the EVO's out in the back for keeping up!!!

the votes............i need more votes!!!!!!

ok so here's what most are intrested in.

B2. Monday - Wednesday - Qualify
Thursday - Sunday - Race

D2. Monday - Thursay - Qualify
Friday - Sunday - Race

so voteo today on what you guys want!!! i'll collect votes untill Sunday night. Vote away!!!!!!

Congrats to everyone on racing Round 2 of the 2002 FRI All Japan 4WD Championships!!!!!

Congrats to all the racers, and I'll be seein' you all around the Rome-Night course!!! :D

Oh yea, I put in a vote for B2.

ok, [DEEP BOOMING VOICE] ALL IS FORGIVEN [/ VOICE]

;)

i'll be at the party, and i'll have a quali time in; but only because i did laps already.
i broke my thumb at hockey saturday night :( and can't use the brake or gas. Changing gears is extremely painful as well.

I was running 1:30's at Rome night, but i doubt i'll be good enough to race by the end of the week. i'll email in my time soonish. i tried lapping, made it through two laps and had to stop because of pain. i'll keep yas up to date on my situation and if i'll make it for the special stage race after Rome.

good luck folks, good racing!

Sorry to hear about the injury, speedy recovery indeed.

In most races I keep a list of best sectors, to have a better understanding of how I am doing, and what the ideal lap would be. I always try to see how close I can get. After a few laps at Rome Night, I was a full second away from this ideal lap. Since then, I've dropped over a full second off my best lap, and yet I'm still nearly a full second away from an ideal lap.. :nervous:

Starting next week from today, Monday, we'll be running Round 3, Rome Night Qualify/Race. At least do some practice this week. The new schedual will be put up in the FRI site, so be sure to look at the "SCHEDUAL" so you'll be aware.
