Just done a few laps on RM. Was getting mid 56s, but the laps were a bit shaky, so I'd say 55s are definitely possible.

@racefan88 @RodeRuner1967 @ozwheels How are you guys going with your testing? I can't seem to get comfortable with the SLS in Suzuka. Either I get heavy understeer or it's completely unstable in the Esses. Well, I'll be testing a bit tomorrow as well and maybe come up with a setup that doesn't suck.
I'm doing pretty well, I can get the car to do anything from loose to tight my only issue is that im only in the 58s after around an hour of practice, im hoping that I can shave more off

Yeah tuning is free providing you meet minimum specs. You can even add more if you want
The pp goes up if you move the ballast past 3%. Does that extra pp count against me so that I can't move it past 3%?

Yeah you would have to take off power in that case. Interesting that it goes up, as if i remember the sls is a 50:50 weight split.

What tyres are you struggling with? And do they still wear uneven after making a pitstop?

The tires wear even from left to right on Suzuka it's just how fast they wear. Some cars have some seriously incorrect coding in my opinion and I'm trying to fix the issues or at least help the issues. I'm finding in most cars you can fix one issue completely with a setup but you sacrifice way more than is reasonable to fix the problem.

Well at a guess judging by the preseason in wgtc, mediums should last about 40 minutes before you loose too much time. Suzuka is a tyre cruncher, lots of high load / speed corners. But from what i can remember from wgtc pre-season, most cars wore about the same even with different setups.

Edit: try adding like 0.4 camber to front and rear if you are really worried about wear levels. It will cost you outright grip though.

I think I'm on par with tire wear and I'm happy with my setup. There's only maybe 3 or 4 tenths left out there so hopefully speed will win over tire wear

Yep mid 56s should be the aim. I am still quite a bit off.

@PIP_36 are you practising tomorrow?

Hi mate, will be opening a room soon for anybody who wants to join, will let you guys know when it's all set up...will be a friends only room so add me if you haven't done so already.

Will be good to go in about 30 mins...
