GT3 GTP Comp Finale *Nightmare in Monaco*

RULES

1. NO CHEATING of any sort!!!
2. NO GRASS CUTTING
3. NO WALLBANGING/WALLRIDING
4. Keep at least 2 wheels on the track at all times, rumble strips are part of the track

Sharkport/X-port replays are a prefered way of submitting times, I know that not everyone has one of these so for the series you will provide a RTI (Random Tech Inspection) of your race.

Mentioned above but SAVE ALL REPLAYS you will need them.



RACES and QUALIFYING

All races will be in the Arcade mode, using either garage cars with specified hp and mods, and the S-garge cars.
Qualifying will be done in Arcade mode Free Run or Sim Mode Run and Setting with either the arcade cars (Free Run) or your garage cars (Free Run or Run and Setting). If you do not have Sharkport/X-port the RTI of Qualifying you will be posting/pm'ing me your settings, logger data, average speed for each section and your split times. For each race you will have 2 weeks to get your fastest 3 lap race time done.

Let's have fun doing this comp while providing vigorious competition amongst the members here at this site.

Race Time due Friday August 30th

Qual time are to be done in Arcade Mode Free Run

Race will be Arcade Mode-Normal (3 laps) Cote D'Azur

You may setup up the car to your liking

Yeah, I've been running some laps just now and I have yet to make a really clean lap!

The run does not have to be wall free, i know it will be very hard for everyone to run 100% clean 3 lap races so what i will do is give a leanent approach, 1-3 wall touches is perfectly fine, wall bangs are a no-no, wallriding is a no-no.

Its not that I dont have enough time the tba's are so you guys can get use to the car and track combo for more than a week, friday i will post the due dates.

I dont know the splits but, 1'20.304 is my best lap so far with many a wall hit

S1: 21.209
S2: 58.499

Not 100% wallfree though

Qualifing doesnt have to be wall free because to get a fast lap wallfree with this car on this track is going to be hard so the 1-3 wall TAP rule applies to qual as well

Thank god for that
It is hard to keep the VX220 out of the Seattle walls.
Keeping the 787b out of the monaco walls is impossible.

I've been trying this out and would like to know if any of you are using driver's aids or not? I am not and I'm about at Holland's T1/T2 (I may be a second off T2, not sure) times and 2 seconds or so slower in total time compared to Zero. Some wall hits but nothing major on the very rare good laps.

I had to go to tcs. I'm capable of the T1 times but not sure about t2. My best is 1:20.130. Sub 1:20 definitely possible. I just wish the steering wouldn't die so #@#$$ !!&^&^@!much.

Is that a car problem or a steering wheel problem?
I never use my wheel cus I've had some performance issues with it.
