I believe it's been stated by someone involved with the game that the analog sticks have a problem that the programmers weren't able to fix. Ever lift a few mph while nowhere near steering lock and not have the car turn much if any, or be going at 35 and have steering like a badly aligned truck? Well, it may not be just a case of suspension settings, aerodynamics and driving.

I can't use the sticks. Just don't feel right to me. I'm old school. I like the pad. I just recently got Medal of Honor and I played it once since I can't use the pad to move around. I know that I need some practice at it, but it's just such a foreign feeling to use the sticks.

D-Pad all the way!

I know d-pad has it's advantages, but it's kind of heavy for me, sticks make the cars steer a bit lighter when they are working. I steer left/right with the left stick and accel (up) and brake (down) with the right stick

I tried the directional pad, it felt spungy.

I only broke 21 seconds for t1 2 times after several hourse. :(

I'm currently under 1:19.8 but by very little, I can maybe scrub a half second, getting 1:19.2s or lower would take a miracle.

Because it's hard enough to control and it would take too long to get accustomed.

Got the car, the track, will be on the track tomorrow. I can only play 1 hr. a day and I have used up my hr. for today.

not likely since my sector times are slowest of the ones mentioned. I think.

The manny tranny is faaaaaaster Talentless! :D

Axis Man: Did you read the thread? I have posted my times up in here earlier.
All's what I know is that I am looking at you in my rearview mirror!

I have improved, might be able to do better. Turns out I'd been leaving the lsd settings stock. On one aborted lap I Got under 57.6 for t2 and on some attempt or another I got 20.725 (best I can remember)

Anyway, a few practice times with the lowered lsd got me near my best time.

Despite my whining, I'm nearly as fast as Zero. Just takes me a millenium to get there. :D

Why aren't you competing in Zero's series?
Do you ever compete?

Well, it appears I am in this rnd doesn't it?

Why, because I have a temper problem. Bad for my health.

i got a new leather chair ;o)

oh yea i got a question, where can i get a lead that will hook my ps2 up 2 my copmuter monitor ?

Zero, is it any time during the 23rd or is 12 am Friday the cut off point?

That's what I assumed. I also assume my total time will be 0.5-0.7, or about 1 second slow.
