GT3 R34 Skyline vs Corvette Z06

[Zero]

Alright here is the one and only R34 Skyline vs Corvette Z06 spot race that I will do.

Each person participating in the race must choose the Skyline or the Vette.

The track will be choosen based on attributes from both cars, so that each car will perform at its best on the track. I have choosen DEEPFOREST for the track. Deepforest has the long straights for the vette and the tight corners for the Skyline.

RULES!
1. Arcade versions of the cars only!
2. TCS and ASM must be off.
3. Try and stay on the track, we are human and humans make mistakes so attempt a perfect no wall touch, no grass cutting lap.

Race Distance-3 laps around Deepforest, normal difficulty if my memory serves me correctly.
Race Times are due on Friday February 22nd at 11:59 PM.
PM me all times.

I'll be driving a Z06. I like the R34 well enough, but the handling leaves a bit to be desired. It's kinda stiff, whereas a good RWD car flows. That, and the LS1's superior torque production means less gear juggling.

I'm in the R34 - it's RHD, just like a proper car!!! Yep the Z06 is quick, but the Skyline will sustain more momentum and speed through the twists...

...there ain't much quicker point-to-point!!! 😈

Racing is what I've used so far...drift isn't for me, either.

Axle, you'll have to use the Ricing setup.

Laugh while you can, it'll ease the pain later.

Well I'll tell you guys right now, doing a 2 lap sprint at Deep Forest in the Free Run for both cars, I was able to get almost 3 seconds better of a lap with the Z06 than I was with the Skyline. It seems to me this matchup is pretty uneven, as the Z06 seemed to have the clear advantadge in turning and definitely in speed.

i'd sugest a better rematch... the Z06 is definitely faster IN THE GAME. keep in mind it's a game, and things are possibly not the same in real life...

i'd suggest the Skyline against the Camaro SS... pretty much the same hp rating and weight...
