Are there some news about the Spanish Car resort? I've been searching even in Japanese but I couldn't find something. :(

I’ve had a brief look through GT3 and GTC in order to make note of previous vehicles that have yet to be listed in this thread. If all previous PS2 based cars are included, we can look forward to a truly sizable list. Oh, now that we know what to look out for…let the process of elimination begin.

Nice list, Samberto! This confirmed one of my suspicions though, as (sorry , briefly off topic, this thread will become obsolete in a week or so! ) about the AS200 in GT3. Can you enter it in the altezza race, because it's not mentioned in the 'cars permitted list'. I wouldn't bother because the listed RS200 is better, but why is it not on that list!!??

I could have sworn I saw a pic of it once, but I can't remember where.
Thanks for your reply, I saw the Spanish Car resort icon on the Japanese magazine (a pic posted here at GTP), I'm referring to if there are some news about the cars that will be there, I'm more than interested about this.

In the prologue bonus video there is the "Seat" brand but no car or smth else

They should put the Cupra series though inside .I think these cars worth it! :)

Cool, thanks ferrari, that is all anyone is asking. :D

@ live4speed :D
Thanks for noticing.
I wanted the change for quite some time but back in the day before I was a uber mod and before there were premium memberships jordan wasn't too hot on the idea of name changes.

Truth is though, I should have registered as Kent from the get-go. :D

Thanks again for taking note. ;)

i'm guessing you mean the ruf btr doesn't appear in the game rather than in real life because here is a link for the real one

http://www.supercars.net/cars/1997@$Porsche%20Ruf@$BTR%202WDx.html

The ‘86 Ruf BTR has been confirmed for GT4. (See pic below) However, there is uncertainty about the inclusion of the 993 based BTR.

Hey Kent, someone told me its $50 to change your name, but you also get the Premium Membership with it. That's not true is it? $50?

i'm looking at the car list and i was curious as to the licensing of some of these cars. Now from my understanding RUF is a considered a manufacturer and so licensing actually comes from RUF without need to go through Porsche. So how did they manage to snag the Fina McLaren. I know that it is BMW powered but is the Fina livery car owned by BMW motorsport and that is how they got the licensing?

i also remember debate about the exclusion of the JGTC Lamborghini Diablo and how the team gave rights to PD but audi later had a problem with it so it was excluded from N. America and Europe.

we covered this quite some time ago, the specifics arn't known but it has something to do with that car being registered as a BMW, exactler why is known by thoes involved with the companies. It appeared in R:Racing as well but with the more conventional flatter head lights.

The Lamborghini was a different storey, PD tried to get it in with a team license, but the car was still registered as a Lamborghini Diablo an not a Nomad Lamborghini Diablo and Lamborghini put an end to it's appearence.

Yes, the Fina McLaren F-1 was campaigned by BMW-Motorsport.
So BMW holds the licence for that car.

BMW may not be the reasoning for the inclusion of the McLaren F1...

Note that the McLaren logo is used on the selection screen for the F1, and also notice that the SLR McLaren is in as well. It's certainly possible that they do have McLaren's permission.

Unfortunately I haven't seen a single pic or read any word about the McLaren F1 (street version) being in the game. I really hope it will be in, it's my all time favourite car.

Cheers,
the Interceptor

Ye they will stll need permission from McLaren for the badge, shape ect, however this car obviousely isn't covered in the exclusive license EA spent shed loads on for the NFS series.

This Thread? How about a PM? But that does seem out, and besides, you could just sign up for another free account, couldn't you???

Let's End this off-topic conversation now.

As for the Mclaren F1 road car, i'm sure everyone wants it in due to its stock c. 240mph (c. 385km'/h) top speed and many other features besides, but it doesn't look likely, the only reason the race car is in is due to BMW, and they had more to do with that car than the road version (which used the engine). There is a thread about the mclarens around that i was involved in but i haven't seen it recently. Have a search and see what you can dig up...

Actually the stock F1 road car doesn't go 240Mph, it was the MP1 or whatever it was called that hit 240Mph, it had it's catalyctic converter removed. The stock F1 road car hits low-mid 230's.

McLaren F1 Prototype #XP5 set the 240mph speed record. It was dark metallic green.

The F1s were available with multiple gear box ratios, so not every car could hit 230mph. It all depended on what type of gearing you selected.
