Where the rx-7 FC ?!? did it not make the cut? or did i just read it wrong?

I wouldn't worry about the FC. for god's sakes it's gran turismo we're talking about: pretty much any semi-popular japanese sportscar is guaranteed.

RX-7 Savanna GT-Limited ('85)
RX-7 Savanna GT-X ('90)

these are FC3S RX-7.
FC3S RX-7 Savanna ∞(Infini) is not on the list, but I'm 100% sure that
this model will be in. Because enfini is hottest model of FC3S, and
Infini model is playable in every GT series except GTC,GT4P.

GT-X 205ps 1250kg
∞ 215ps 1200kg

ohh ok, because i was hopeing this time they will have the N/A version in there. well years 86`- 91` mostly. but it would be a huge draw bac if they didn't have at least one FC in there.

That didn't stop the Lancer Evolution VI and VII, but they had to modify it with the driver's names to get it through.

True, but the 307 doesn't have any 'alternative' sponsorship. They actually ran thouse Lancers with the driver's names on them at one stage. But the best was in Tommi Makkinen's final drive with Subaru. Instead of "Subaru World Rally Car" on the front of the car, they had "Makkinen, World Rally Legend."

Tajima's twin-engined Pikes Peak car has always been referred to as Cultus(Swift) in articles I've read.

Yes it would be nice to have something challenge the Escudo with...

Rod Millens Toyota Celica (it's in the infamous 778 car list)
Rod Millens Toyota Tacoma
Ari Vatenens Peugeot 405 T16 (another 778 car)
Walter Rohls Audi Sport Quattro S1
Stig Blomquists Ford RS200 (2003/4?, 840bhp)

Good list but names are ARI VATANEN, WALTER RÖHRL and STIG BLOMQVIST! :banghead:

I also like to add Peugeot 205 T16 pikes peak and Saab 9-3 Viggen Coupe (700 hp)!

Those cars actually ran in those schemes (with the drivers' names) on selected events where cigarette sponsorship was not permitted. So the Puegeot 307 coul dbe in if it ran the Monte Carlo scheme, for example.

Yeah i think so, but it says '00 for the GT-APEX Tuning car, but the ss shieno looked almost the same as the standard '83 or '85 AE86 model. Me confused..

the ss version had a high revving, more potent engine in it, like at the end of the show.

The tuning car originates from '00, but the base model, the trueno is from '85. '00 is when the tuning car was made, and the Initial D series started. With the new engine and suspension it is basicly a new car.

It started with 1 replica from the Initial D cartoon. But the hype followed and a lot of other people started modding their AE86s. The original "tuning car" or "SS version", was made out of an AE86 (from '85 or an other production year) in the year 2000. This was and is the only car of it's kind. The uniqueness lies in it's high revving racing engine.

With more GM brands being represented (Chevrolet, Vauxhall, Opel, Buick, Cadillac, Saab maybe), the inclusion of Holden is looking better,
