Once again I never made the top twenty, but I have to ask how the hell did that third last pic get in? it's the ****test heap of crap I have seen, a car in pitch darkness with lights on, what is so good about that?

Why not show some respect to whomever captured that photo? And do you even know what you're typing? ... "a car in pitch darnkess with lights on". Let's take a look at the theme When and if you win, you can choose whatever photo you want. Maybe then we can all complain about your choices. Until then, let whoever is choosing have their fun and let them choose what THEY think are good photos.

Honestly, sometimes I'm amazed at the lack of maturity and all the cry-baby comments of not getting chosen. This competition is meant to be fun. If you didn't get chosen and want to know why, fine. Ask politely. Don't a jerk about it and badmouth other photos that did get chosen.

I voted for the last one, I love those angle eyes on the M5, tried to get a decent pic of that too. I like the sense of speed on it too! 👍

I was not complaining about not making the top 20, I am use to it and I really didn't try to make a descent picture and if I really wanted to make the top 20 I would of tried. I was just pointing out how that pic made it? All the other pics have something else in them that one doesn't. It suited the theme fine but to me it was a boring dull picture, unlike all the others.

Nicely done to everyone who made it to the top 20 this week. For those who didn't make it, better luck next time. People have to understand that it's not easy choosing the top 20, especially when there are so many fantastic entry's like this week.

A big "Thanks for not hiring goons to come to my house" if your photo was not in the Top 20. As I said in the Week 11 Main Thread:

It was very tough to pick 20 images, many missed out due to simply-fixed problems such as framing and brightness (or lack thereof). I picked 54 images after going through the thread, whittled it down to 30, then 23, then 20.

I'm just one face from the hundreds unofficially picking their own Top 20, so I appreciate you guys respecting that!

I knew I wasnt in the running because I didnt brightness/contrast....I had few that might have done better but I didnt want to modify my so called "final entry". Ill just give it a better effort next time round.

Seems a little out of place that the one picking the Top 20 picks his own picture. Like it's been said many times before and not just by me. This is more of a popularity cotest than a PHOTOGRAPH contest. I don't have a problem with Orbit's picture, what I don't agree with is that he picked his own picture to be in the Top 20. Now whether or not he gets any votes is not the point. HE picked HIS picture when in order to show some sort of sportsmanship, he should have picked someone else's picture instead of self-glorifying himself like that. But, what the hey. I still think that the winner from the previous week should not be allowed to enter in the current week's comp. Just my opinion.

I also thought about that during Week 10, but I decided to leave it alone to avoid misunderstandings, even though obviously I'd never choose my own entry.

At least there still a shred of sportmanship like principles around here.
