CONSTRUCTIVE criticism people, come on. Sometimes people put more work and feeling into these pics than you think, mainly the more artistic or design oriented people, sorry but it's our nature. So when you say things like that those people tend to take it personally, just be a little more respectful about how you criticize people's work, please.
Wow, sorry mate... but seriously... you might want to check the dosage on your medication.
You're being a bit overly sensitive here and flying off the handle for no reason.
Let me inform you of the difference between con-structive and de-structive criticism.
The first logical question would be, what is criticism?
criticism - n
1: disapproval expressed by pointing out faults or shortcomings;
The next logical question to pop into your head now that you know all criticism is negative by nature might be something like this: So what makes a negative comment constructive, if saying bad things hurt peoples feelings?
Good question little billy, the answer to that is one simple word; reasons.
Destructive criticism is merely an empty phrase designed to put down something someone else has done. While constructive criticism gives the reasons for the formation of a person's negative opinion.
examples:
"Wow that's complete crap! I bet your mother cries herself to sleep at night."
This would be destructive, as it has no purpose, it is negativity for the point of being negative.
"This could be good, but the lighting doesn't look natural and I think the main character needs to be easier to relate to."
This would be constructive, the statement is still a put down, but it explains the reasoning for the negativity.
So, back to the comment at hand, while what I said before could be deemed as highly opinionated, and it is in fact negative, I gave ample reason as for why I didn't like it. Therefore my statement is more constructive than slanderous.
so please, if you could find it in your heart to call the thought police off I'd appreciate it.
but in the mean time... you want to hug it out?
