As far as voting goes, I have made it final, If you vote for yourself, winning or losing, your vote will not count so you may as well not even vote then. The true winner should win with other people's support, not theirs. If you don't like this rule, don't participate. This will be enforced.

Bah...dont quit....you took a risk using the "badge" on the building...not a bad thing. It just turns out the bagdes that are on the car were what he was looking for. Its hard to get a clean shot really close to the car and maybe that why this topic was picked. "How close can you get to the badge and still keep it clean?"...at least thats how I viewed it.

You pic was fine, but risky because you used the sign as the main badge. Unfortunatly it didnt work out...dont quit over it. Its all in fun...

This comp is just not for me, it's plain boring. So I just quit.

I really thought at first that the 2. comp would be better but still, same problem again.

In the week 25 thread I had been asked to clarify what I meant by 'the badge' because there was some confusion. my reply. post #54 https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=1838499&postcount=54
said, "For clarification:
I want the manufacturer emblem or the model name logo.
License plates will not be allowed
nor will any identifiers that are not on the car." (italics mine)

This is why Div's (albeit an original and nice picture) didn't make the final 20.
440 Charger posted a great pic as well, but admitted by even himself, you couldn't make out the badge all that well.

You should probably stop. Div has a point. He sorta did (O.K. he completely did) get screwed out of this weeks comp, and before you start and arguement, you should probably look at the picture he submitted. He put a hell of a lot more work into it than I did into mine, yet I made it in and he didn't.

ok he had a good picture. but someone else had to choose 20 pic's and he had a other opinion and thats what counts.. If everyone would stop after the didn't get choosen there will be nobody left. So thats why I'm saying get over it and just try again next time he might like your pic.

I am very objective in my way of judging my pics to the others, and it has been more than a week that it has been like that, it's a reputation this comp has for me, and that is my own opinion. I did not take that decision just because of this week, that would have been stupid and childish.

I'm one of the few here that actually tells his opinion on pics directly, when it sucks, it sucks period.

Maybe I made a few enemies, who knows.

Calm down guys, this competition doesn't mean anything, its just a bit of fun. I'm sure if Div's entry got through it would get a lot of votes because of its originality. It is obviously just not to the taste of speedy_samurai. Don't stop entering just because you didn't make one final 20.
