Well that was a hoot!
I would like to present The 2016 Moonhatsu Rover. Mtype.
"Marvin". May still wrap a reflection on to it...

peculiar... it's almost taken on "Toad-like" characteristics....
Edit: Final Entry too lazy too do the reflection...

I believe the Kanji to the right of the headlight is "Marvin", below that "Space Law" and on the front windshield "Japanese Space Exploration Agency".

Toad > I can understand those kanji for most part
but not quite sure Marvin really means "big man"
anyhow ... I think you should use Sanrio characters instead of WB
everything should be, right?
btw ... how can you make Space Law's text? I like that font

Thanks, Franz, somehow I got the paint pearlescent by playing around with "overlay" layers, and I love the effect it creates, too!
Dustdriver, nice stretch and tank! I did a stretch M5 because nobody else had done a stretch but when I got up here to post it, you had already posted yours!

These last few are great! Once again creativity has reared it's ugly head!
Nothing wrong with a bunch of stretch limos battling it out in the final poll.
Dustdriver, the tank is great!

And as far as all that Kanji goes... "Marvin" I found by Googling 'Marvin in Kanji'.

The other stuff was cribbed off the JAXA sites. The 'Space Law' logo came from there.
I'm assuming it's much like the three laws of robotics...

Thanks toad. i'm glad you all like the tank. It was actually harder to make the sstretch and the crowler. I had to take a lot of pictures before i had a good tactic to make te stretch. First a close-up from the car,then zooming out and putting the car off-screen to have the sceen for the stretch.

Thanks! I don't understand how it works either! I think it has something to do with color replacement...

overlay-dark object onto light background
screen- double brightness & contrast
multiply - half the brightness & contrast [also used to remove the white off of a mono-tone image]
thats pretty much all i use... that and levels of course

I had an experience that I put a black layer in overlay mode over a silver car
it gave me a dark chrome on the car
but I still have no idea if this applies to what suzq said
