That's very interesting. So would you say le mans is likely to be in?

Difficult to be certain…it is however of note that GRogall confirmed certain BMW models to me before we had knowledge of the said vehicles.

Edit: Take your time oosacker, we are all pleased to have a Kanji Master on board.:)

I really hope to see a plethora of bmws. I'm expecting to see the 73 3.0 CSL racer. There are afew sources that suggest le mans being in. I really hope that track makes it in.

First off, it looks like the right flag was given to the Australian Car Town. Good one, PD. Second off, I guess it's safe to say these will be the car towns:

America, Japan, British, DUTCH, Swedish, SPANISH, Germany, Belgium, Italian, French, and KOREAN

The ones in bold are those not previously in the GT series. I cannot recall any Dutch manufactuers, the only Spanish make I know is Seat, and many of us Americans know Korean cars. You know, waiting for GT4 more can actually be a good thing. One case in point is that we can see a lot more cool cars and such in GT4. It looks like we may get the sexy sweet McLaren-Mercedes SLR. Isn't she an alluring beast? That Daimler carriage is going to make for some good racing and some good photo mode shots. If The History Channel uses that PC Game to enact war situations, Speed Channel may have to use GT4 to enact some racing moves and some cool cars. If they did an entire special on the making of "NASCAR 2005 Chase for the Cup," they might as well make a special out of this.

CORRECTION: I forgot about Spyker! So I DO know a Dutch company, even if it is just one. For those of you who played GT Concept (not me), you may remember Spyker. Keep the pictures coming! Keep giving me ideas as to what I should look forward to see in GT4!

Thank you for taking up the challenge, it's very much appreciated. :)

I was looking through your website and the logo section and saw you designed the i-club.com logo and it's even on the JGTC Cusco Impreza! How cool is that?

Yeah I was pretty happy about it. I also got a logo on the Subaru USA rally cars for a while too :)

I really want to be like you ....

sorry off topic

oosacker, how good are you in translating from japanese? I'm not too good, and it will be better for everybody to rely on someone who can translate the booklet better (and faster) than me.

I'm translating the GT MODE scan, and it's a lot of work!

Geez, only last week had a Japanese student at our flat, but he's now back in Japan... that would've made it super-easy...

I think I am pretty good. I am Japanese, and hold a level 1 certificate plus I am educated in NZ.

JLPT lv 1 ? You must be good then! My problem is that I'm lacking in kanji knowledge.
I'll leave it to you, then! :)

OK, some random info:

-The "city map" in the scans is not from the game interface
-In MY HOME there's a garage which can hold 1000 cars, you can view your game status (race completition, etc), view your car photos (photo album), see your B spec driver statistics and a log of what you've done in the game so far (diary)
-in the BEGINNER HALL there are races which do not require a license, such as Sunday Cup
-There are about 50 license tests, the licenses are National B, National A, International B, International A and Super Licence. No I-C or Rally Licenses.
-There are about 100 BGMs in the game, and you can select which ones you want to play during races and photo mode slide shows.

I think I've read somewhere that you have to buy your B-Spec driver his licenses, but I can't find it anymore in the scans.

More to follow

-The fuel indicator (led) will flash when you'll be about to run out of fuel. You'll have to be careful since if you completely run out of fuel you won't be able to continue the race.

-Counting colors, trims and the like, there are about 6000 car variations.

-You will be able to select the following driving aids combinations: None, TCM, TCM+ASM (it says in the Race Settings menu, so I presume in Arcade mode only)

-This time GT uses Dolby Prologic 2 for 5.1 sound
-This time engine sounds have been recorded also with maximum throttle engaged

KY wants to include B-Spec to make anyone can enjoy GT4
but what happens if the race requires license to enter?
or say you can buy your B-Spec driver with the choice of level of license whom obtained?

Intresting 👍 But that wing on 350z looks ridicilous , imo ;)

Does someone know what the symbols next to wheels and wings represent?

Oil change and car wash, or maybe something else?

The symbol next to the weel icon looks like an oil jerrycan, I can't make anything out of the other icon.

The symbol next to the wheel is a small oil bottle with GT oil logo, the other thing is a bucket with car wash gear in it.
