Close though in the chicane but couldn't spot an off.
 
I believe I shall have a go at this, now that I have a working PS2. No Max Drive as of yet, but, hey, I want to see what I can do. :mischievous:

I'm struggling, apparently the limits of this combo are far beyond my capabilities:

47.372/1'27.662.
 
I haven't submitted my qualifier yet,
but if you guys are at the top of the board you can expect to see me closing in. I was running on Div 3 setup and hit...

Though I think there is still room for improvement.
 
It's good to know I'm not the only one struggling with this combo! :grumpy:
Don't misunderstand, I think it's great, but I've got sort of a love/hate
relationship with Suzuka... there are laps I spend more time in the sand
than on the track, or so it feels :lol:
Yesterday and today I've done about 50 laps and here's what I've got:

T1 47.680
T2 1.27.539

What are you worried about? He's got no MaxDrive, so you folks at Div3 can run as always. It was already proven that he's not Div3 material, but he can't get a promotion without a MaxDrive.

Max Drives aren't that hard to come by.
 
I just spent about 20 minutes on this and only about half of that time was on the track. I really need to work on Degner. I think I have 130R. I think some of you can take it flat out. I can take it with just a lift and a downshift now. Of course the extra speed now messes up my braking points for the chicane (and off the track I go again!). I also might try lowering the top speed. I am just hitting 6th gear. And it seems that in the chicane I am hitting the rev limiter in 2nd. Of course then I might be off for taking the esses in 4th. Maybe I can spend some time on this later tonight. Have to go spend some time with my Mom now.

Tried another gearing change & managed to get to
0'47.246
1'26.449,
but I dont see myself getting into the 1'25s.
 
Did some laps so you can add these to leader board:
T1: 49.709
T2: 1'30.897

290 gearing, asm/tcs on and rss all around...

I could seriously tear about .4xx off my time, but I keep over compensating the two fast rights before T1.

Whoops - I've been cruising around the 1'30s today, but now I see I was 10% down on the power - raced with 0% :confused:

DFPs have a huge advantage. Even with my crappy attempts of left-foot braking on the DS2, I managed times upto 2 seconds quicker by the finishline! :eek:

Did some racing myself with +18%,
second lap, 46.2/1'25.3



Buy the maxdrive and join div.2 or even better div.1 👍

Sory but i can't stand the place but thats mainly because i suck at suzuka hahahahahaha, no really i do lol

I usually manage to ace the Spoon, yet muck up the first set. This week, it's the opposite... Can't manage T2 for crap, with average finished but great T1s.

Oh it's alright, ;). I'd pick too. Hell I'd be suspicious of a character that does these times out of nowhere without proof. The Maxdrive is on its way.. I know, it's like a chant. :lol: But, soon.

Not at all,

I wanted to pointed out that you are racing with to much hp for a racer of your caliber.
I did try it for myself and beat my current T2 with 0.8 sec in 2 laps.:sly:

good news about the maxdrive though.👍

No no no no dear chap, I weasn't implying that you weren't. :lol: I'm just saying, you know? I have no bad quarter with you. ;)

Yes, I start my Job in June, so I shall be set then. I personally cannot wait. Next step will be a computer with a working USB Port. 💡 (I'll be using my mate's for the Maxdrive.)

Good news indeed concerning the Maxdrive.👍

I think there are plenty here who would enjoy seeing how you manage those times. Hell, I know I would, just as a learning experiance. I may be old but, I don't have tunnel vision nor do I care much about who I learn from. :)
